Magus Genetics

Hi Gerrit!
I was looking online and doing some research and I can't decide on what would be best suited for an indoor grow. Double Dutch, Warlock, Bidding Early, Exile, and Motavation all look nice.

I know it's posted on other sites but it would be great if you could give the background of your strains. Also a great way to raise your post count too since I heard you couldn't PM yet.

potency levels that even an old head can appreciate
and did i mention they practicly grow themselves?

this is the first magus forum i've found. i been looking for a place to post my pics of thier double dutch... to bad all i got left to take pics of is 2 lil nugs lol. loved it but ill post a thread in this forum with a couple pics of the finished product

Hello Cheeba,

What would be the best suited for your indoor grow is a bit hard to answer since you did not elaborate on what you are looking for.

What I can tell you is that the Biddy would be the least suited, although it will do fine if you plan on doing just one run, straight from seed.
But if you plan on selecting a mother to use as a cutting source for multiple crops over time, I would not use the biddy because it's a P.I.T.A. to keep it in a healthy vegetative stage for a prolonged period.
Of course you could be lucky and find an exception to the rule, but chances are little.

All others can be maintained for a very long time without any trouble.

@ Dizzythug420: Thanks for the compliment.

Don't know where the lonely mood comes from, sure don't feel like that, see if I can change it.

Double Dutch & Motavation

I'm a small indoor closet grower so space is an issue. DoubleDutch & Motavation looks like good candidates for me. What would you recommend to the new grower? Topping/training would be done as well. Thanks!

Hello Sheeba,

Both would be good for you situation but the Motas would require a little longer grow period after topping than the DD to promote lateral growth, I personally prefer bending instead of cutting though.
Also the DD has relatively weak stem/branches so you should make sure to support them when bending to prevent breaking under the weight of the buds.

The high of both will make you pretty lazy if you smoke enough, but the DD seems to be more easy to control (more mild when only smoking a little), while the Mota kicks in almost immediately in my experience.

If you like to stay capable to do some work and just feel happy, the Warlock would be a good choice, this will work in small areas as well as long as you keep the amount of plants limited and bend back the main stalk.

@ Bamakind, thanks for the kind words, are you still growing the Warlock, and since when?

I just had to pop in and say hello to Gerrit. Im a big Double Dutch fan. Great strain. Just lookig at a 10 pack you can see uniformity in all. In a market full of countless strains with hype about this and that people would do well to foret the rest and give DD a go.
Great work. Keep it up.

Couple pics of my best DD.
