Recommend a Seed

So i coming to the end of my first grow and want to start thinking about getting seeds i actually know what they are.(first grow bagseeds)
so what i would like is something easy enough to grow, that takes the least amount of time and doesn't grow to big.and also grows in our climate.i am growing in a wooden shed in my backyard so its sort of indoors,i am thinking it will still get pretty cold in a shed with the seasons we have to come.also wheres the best place to get them.

been experienced irish growers i am sure you have your favorites and would like to share.
thanks.

Good points Tonto,

Mark I've grown in a shed ( concrete) for a few seasons, the cold during lights off is a pain in the ass it really slows things down growth wise when the soil gets cold, you may need heat mats.
Humidity during the wet winter months is also a problem.

I'd go for a nice simple Afghan, stays smallish, easy to grow and a decent smoke.

That works for summer too...when it's too hot during the day...

Electric costs are also less during the night vs during the day. Theres really no reason to run lights during the day unless thats what your schedule demands imo.

i'll also add my +1 to everything the lads above have stated, good advice.

The only thing i dont agree with is the afghan, but i dont like pure afghans that much, so thats merely a personal smoke preference not a recommendation not to grow it . In my opinion there are very few strains that cause much trouble while growing. Its a plant, it wants to grow . Pick a few strains your interested in, post em up n we'll let u know of any that should be avoided for your conditions , also answer tonto's questions above to give a better idea of the setup they'll be grown in. Do you have the ability to add in heaters for when it gets too cold ? Also are u sure the shed is lightproof ?

i'd prefer not to,as the chopper is constantly above my area, its not the greatest shed, the box in the shed is pretty secure.H5`W5`D2.5`
not many lights leaks just where the wires from the lights enter at the top,but i could cover it.
i am using 4 4ft floros,so there not that much heat, don't know weather it would show up on the chopper if i left them on at night.

well i don't lock it at night.if someone really wanted to get in,they'll get in.
insulated=no
properly wired=extension leads from the hse.

i could insulate the box i suppose.

Lights, fans, heat, and a dehumidifier ( you'll need one ) seems a lot of things to be running off 1 extention lead??

maybe I'm wrong but it seems a lot.
