Hi!

I got a call today from a dispensary asking if I could help them. They say that here in Colorado, I may need a separate license in order to grow for them. I am a registered MMJ patient and caregiver.

Is this true? Do I need a totally separate license to grow for a dispensary?

Didn't you just move out here??? YOu have to be a resident for 2 years to work for a dispensary now..I think you had to have established residency by 12-15-09..and yes you need a zoned warehouse with an off site grow permit ( it's called something kinda stoned so I forget..) Plus you will have to go through a criminal backround check conducted through the MED..

Not worried about the check. Didn't know the date reached back that far. I thought it was August 1.

Nope Dec 15ish.. I hear through a couple of sources that they ( whoever that is) are trying to get the residency thing taken care of..I know there is a ton of out of state money tied up in all this so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out..

sucks bro.. this new law forced me out of a job in the industry due to my "permanent record" Like I said pretty sure the out of state thing will be taken care of sooner than later, not so sure about the drug felon thing..

im not sure how hard or easy it is these days compaired to say a year ago.."but" i know that the state is very very behind in getting you your med card in the mail, some are saying up to 9mnths. everything up/down/in/out is a freaking joke here in colorado when it comes to the med scene..the new laws, regulations, zoning, banning etc etc it just isnt all worth it..makes one think why the hell bother and why not stay underground and out of the eyes of state/feds that are eyeballing everything!?!
who ever thought that CO Marijuana Growers/dispensaries would be working for the MAN.
