We all tend to gravitate to the frosty trichome covered bud and cola shots, and rightfully so...but....to see new life emerge from a seed, to soon grow into beautiful resin coated goodness can be intriguing as well.

At DGS, when new seed lots undergo germination testing, this is a perfect time to share some of my macro images of how it all begins.

There are no special soaking solutions, no dancing under a moon phase, or other extraordinary measures taken....just a plain white paper towel, wet with tap water (approx ph 6.4), placed into a DVD or blue ray case, closed and put into a warm location with ambient temp of 29c (85f)...and wah-la, in 18-24 hrs here's how they look, emerging from their shells.

Those who follow my images here know that I am very fascinated with macro photography. Hopefully you find these images pleasing.
