I use one and love it. The only problem I have with it is that if you fill it too high with water.....or too much ice, the water leaks out of the seal on the top. From the blue plastic to the white. I tried to seal it with silicone but it didn't work. Just make sure you dont put too much water in and it will work really well.

I have one and was curious, has anyone every tried putting your trim in the water and ice by itself without using the net bag it comes with?
I mean to me it seems you would get a better disbursement this way as compared to everything being all crammed up in the bag.? Yeah sure the drain on the machine might be a bitch but atleast I'd have a use for my wooden spoon. ![]() Either way trash to hash is awesome to say the least. Have A Nice Day Mr.Wags

I got one of these and they work well, take a lot of time and energy out of doing runs and you can do other stuff while its mixing. This is a newer model though coz mines not clear.

hey mrwags we've tried it but it just makes a huge mess that's more of a hassle to clean up in the end.
If you only fill with the amount recommended (200 gr?) nothing is really too cramped up. Rather than pack in too much into the net bag you'd be better off getting the XL version so you can run more material at a time. Aqualabs also sells their version of the net bags for use with a regular large mashing machine and 2-3 will easily fit into a regular washing machine and you can get some large pulls if you run this into a 20 gallon set of bags. these ones are way too small even for personal grows.
i find dumping everything through a 5 gal required using a 10-30 gal seperate container and using the bag like a filter rather then mix with all the bags ontop of eachother. using a kitchen mixer is a waste of time, cement mixer + drill is best. i cant imagine that tiny machine is ever going to pull more then a couple of wet grams out of the limited amount of trim it can hold. i use a 32gal trashcan and a 32gal 220U filter and then use the 5gal to run all the water through.

the problem is when u jam the tiny bit of material it even holds in, is that the resin gets stuck in the leafs because everything is so mashed into there.
