Here is the baby making tent. My favorite male ever thus far, the SOL semi-mutant leafed male donating his pollen to 8 of the girls in the stable. 6 handpicked for different potential qualities from my collection of moms, and 2 are unknown ACE seeds Tikal and Orient Express my buddy gifted me. He grows outdoors, so I really have no clue how they are indoors.

If anyone thinks the daddy is something other than a Sativa BB leaning BS2.2(thanks SOTF!), please give your opinion.

Nice pics should be funky & interesting! DJ's blueberry lines sure do make for some strange events down the line. I am certain the buds will be mighty fine!

What does the male smell like if you rub the stems, is it grapefruity?

No grapefruit to it. A very hashy incense smell with a mixture of rhubarb. The color of all the stems looks like rhubarb also.


The stems could lay in this pile and get confused with the rhubarb

That first male you got there looks almost identical to a nice Blue Satellite Female I have. It has the same mild mutation, occasional spotty variegation, and the curvy leaf tips. That being said it's healthy and vigorous... just a little sensitive.

How did your female turn out? Or have you flowered her out yet? I agree with everything you said... spot on my friend. Sounds like we have the same pheno of bs2.2 (or is your original blue satelitte?)

Growbass, based on what you said I am almost certain your male plant you describe is a very far Blueberry sativa leaning phenotype of the BS 2.2. The mutations (often present in BB), stem color, and the smell pretty much confirm it beyond a reasonable doubt. Should make for some amazing offspring!

Yah she is a gem. Got some curing in the jar right now. It's a 2.2. Was my favourite out of 15 beans. (although most bs 2.2 were top shelf). Got another 50 seeds I'm looking to explore. It has that distinct BS smell that comes through nice in the taste. I would describe it as a creamy, smooth candy...sweet but not sickly.

What suprised me most about that particular one was how healthy is was for a semi mutant. It grew bigger and faster than all the other blue sats.

Keep some of that pollen around Growbrass!

AlienResin: thanks for the information on your BS2.2. For you to say it was your favorite of the pheno's gets me even more excited to see what this father does to my mommas. I got quite a bit of pollen saved, enough for a few bx's if I feel it will help stabilize certain traits. Also, I have to say I was also very surpirsed that the mutantness didn't seem to slow down the growth rate. It was equal or above the rest of the run throughout.

SOTF: for some reason, I just realized that it probably stood for "survival of the fittest" haha. Thank you for blessing the post with some of that knowledge stored in that fine brain of yours. A vigorous sativa leaning BB pheno will hopefully be amazing in these crosses. I'll be popping these A.S.A.P.


I do have a question for you SOTF, or anyone else who knows their SOL gear. I got another adventure mix running with more bs2.2 and blubonic. I have one girl that is now over 6 feet tall, while the others are closer to 4 feet. She filled up a 5 gallon bucket quicker than I've ever experienced before. Here is the thing, she started to force flower as soon as the roots started to run out of room to expand. I know this is a trait of SPG, so I am HOPING it is a Glo plant. (I can get pictures on Thursday, and post on Friday if it would help) Does anything else in the mix pack have this auto flower when roots are filled trait? Does Glo normally get so big?

Well you are correct in the trait being related to the SPG side of things so it could be a GLO or a Sweet Tooth (SPG pheno) leaning BS 2.2 most likely since that's half Sweet Tooth itself - BUT since all the plants in the mix packs were pollinated with a BS 2 male (which is half Sweet Tooth) it honestly could be any of them because they all have the genetics to display the traits potentially, and this does not mean though it's going to be grapefruity either.

I have had some outcrosses display this root-bound autoflowering trait of the SPG but not be "grapefruity" at all just berry. Is it full on flowering or just pre-flowering?

As far as size goes, FLO can definitely be stretchy and tall & so can the SPG.

Would love to see pics of the plant and stems, make sure to rub the stems too and let us know how they smell.
