Apical's dieselrella SOG
Hello all,
Just thought Id share my Dieselrella grow with all y'all, I have three phenos going at the moment in a 50 plant SOG under 1k. Two Of the phenos I have grown out already and one I am trying out for the first time. The first pheno is NYCD dominant and stretches a lot during flower forms long thick arms and with proper training I am sure it can get close to attaining the legendary baby arm colas the NYCD is know to produce. It has tons of resin and a tart lemon Lysol smell and flavor to it. Very nice smoke and definitely staying in the stable for a long time to come The second pheno is C99 dominant grow shorter compact buds gleaming with resin and smells of pineapples and lemons mixed. I love this pheno she flowers in 60 days and has impressed everyone that has seen and smoked her. The third pheno is unknown to me as i have not flowered it out yet. It looks to fall toward the NYCD side of things. We shall see So on to the pictures This is the room for the SOG, I run multiple rooms this is the smallest of all of the, the room measures 4x8 in usable space. Eventually I will put two six hundreds in there the more evenly distribute the light. This is pheno #1 (NYCD dominant) This is pheno #2 (C99 dominant) This is the unknown pheno And finally this is pheno #1 finished |

What caught my attention, besides your other comments...which are nice btw...thank you... is 50 under 1 x 1000w or 50 under 2 x 600w?
That's a bit crowded don't you think?Otherwise, plants look great in your pics....for now, but not sure what you will wind up with that many under so little light. Good luck with it! ![]() Nice to hear you and your friends like the C99 pheno of Dieselrella. Awesome! ![]() DG |

Yeah I was thinking about it also. Though I have seen grows with much higher numbers per 4x8 using 2x600 and have astounding results. A good example is stoney419 he runs 121 plants per 4x8 with two 600's on a light rail and is averaging very well i think around 1.25 GPW. If I feel they aren't getting enough light ill just add more till i think it is sufficient. Never had a problem upping the wattage.
Thanks for lookin out DG, Ill get some pics up of the next round of plants to go in, most of them are 5+ feet and im going to vertical scrog them, should be fun |

Sounds like a plan! Looking forward to following along. I always find it interesting to see varied styles of growing and how the plants perform in them. Wishing you much success!

Dg your A sweetheart .Thanks for the well wishes. As I am trying this for the first time (SOG) I am also figuring out what will work. The great stretch and cola producing capacity makes me think the dieselerella will work well, but you don't know till you try.

Gave the ladies nice haircuts and I think they all look a little better for it. I Keep reading about high defoliation methods but haven't actually tried them yet. Thinking next round ill try it out. Took a couple quick shots after I trimmed them up. I believe they are on day 10 of flower
Here we go Dieselrella #1 (NYCD pheno) Dieselrella #2 (C99 pheno) I love the growth pattern of this plant. SO dense. |

Can definitely see the closer node spacing on the 2nd one referenced as C99 influenced.
Nice trim job! Both phenos do quite well topped and side branches trimmed....of course depending on the grow style and space available for this. ![]() |
