Blue Thunder
Hello everyone
, officially my first grow forum on icmag, i got 12 blue thunder seeds off seedbay, from reef. I droped 6 into a cup of water, all six of them poped over night. They have done their time in the paper towle and are now into some dirt, and away we go.Normally i don't post so early but, i seem to have gotten a trifoliate blue thunder.. I got a nice pic of the thing so far, clearly you can see it. Anyone seen this before? I will do weekly or bi weekly updates of how they are doing. depends how stoned i am that day. ![]() Last edited by MrChronic; 12-10-2005 at 07:37 AM.. |

I have never seen the cotyledons do three like that. I have seen where they have three leaves per node once they started putting on true leaves. That looks like a rarity.

yeah i have only seen it maybe once before, on a post some years ago on OG. never though i'd find one. It is definatly a trifoliate, it is pushing out three leaves pretty steadily. I will wait a little while to do another photo update just because i want it to straighten itself out some what..
It has me wondering what side of the gene pool it is from... my money is on the blueberry sativa, But it would be interesting if it shows more kodiak gold traits. Will be fun none the less, even if it is male i might keep it in clone to play with some day. |

I have grown the Kodiak Gold so I will be intrested in your grow. I have some more KG going now to make seeds for future breeding projects. Makes nice hard nuggets that are very frosty. Low odor so maybe the blueberry with enhance the aromas. Keep us posted.

seems that the tri has gone back to normal
, shot out one bunch of three leaves then went back to normal. After doing some reading on trifoliates i doubt i will keep it around, unless it is a gem lady.I will do a photo update next week some time?! I have to say i am pleased thus far, of the six beans i started with, all six are going strong, I have to also add that they are all looking pretty similar. I have my eye set on one so far, it is showing me that it is gunna be a lavender pheno. I would like to see the growth rate of the BT in a nice water tabel.thats it for now. ![]() Mrc.

Luci once told me that if I kept the KG a little more acidic than normal the lavender hues would show more. Here never gave me a ph reading to go by. By the time he told me this though I was almost ready to harvest.

thought i would do a small update, here they are 10 days later. And that trifol that i thought had reverted, did not revert to normal..
It just looks that way when the leaves are really small. Anyways here are just a few shots so far. nothing special yet.. few more weeks, and they will be eye candy. Next watering will be with some ferts at half strength, see how they like it. Mrc. The trifol got a few of them in this shot close up, without the flash. nice and healthy. |
