So got my hand on a new 600W digital ballast by Industrial System Electronics. Cool part is they can be controlled by an optional controller which I still need to get my hands on it. I was told normally the distributor would set up the controller to your specifications but there will be software that will run on Windows and you can program it yourself (will do a video of this once I get the controller and the software) So the ballast or up to 64 of them can be run say 50% power for a little then run for say 100% and then a certain time go down to say 30%.

Also unlike the 1000w this one is 120/240 volts auto switch.
It does not have built in male/female plugs into the ballast like say the Lumatek/Galaxy which kinda sucks as you have to wire it up yourself. It is CSA and FCC approved though.

I'm just waiting for someone to finish their crop to test this thing out on their next run. I'd like to see how it deals with Hortilux and Gavita bulbs but I don't think that person will be wanting to be a test pilot with the Gavitas (seen them explode in digital ballasts)
