Understanding Police Drug Dogs and Odor Detection
Some important info to help you keep yourself safe.
I have removed portions of the article promoting the author's videos and website, and bolded portions of the text. Quote:

Very good info head!
I've had many experiences with dogs, not once has they been able to find anything. Usually in places where MJ odor is everywhere, like at my home, car and public festivals. Dogs are probably overwhelmed with MJ-odor and aren't able to point the source. + Many times dogs have been just puppies and obviously don't have any idea what they're supposed to do... I think it's good thing to have animals around your stash (@ home), I have cats and dogs. One time I had customs search my car and I had reindeer horn in my car which customofficers took out before they let the dog in. So I thing bones in general would be one thing to have around to give the dog something better to think instead your stash...

I got searched recently going into Canada to see Iron Maiden. They ransacked the car and didn't find anything. I look like a long haired freak so they figured I must have something in there. They got out a hound dog and had him sniff around. At one point he suddenly looked directly at one of the customs immigration agents as if to say "I kinda smell something but not really."
One of the agents asked "So, WHAT KIND OF DRUGS DO YOU DO?" I was like "I don't do drugs." He said "No marijuana...?" I said no. He said "Did anyone ever smoke marijuana in your car? My girl was like "I don't know what the previous owner might have done" and I was thinking "WHAT?!" It was alright though. After a two hour hold up we made it to the gig in Toronto right as Maiden was about to go on! |

I strongly believe that if dogs are trained with one type of cannabis, they're not interested with something else.
Like if two strains have different kind of terpenoids, how could the dog be able to make the connection? Or is this just stoner logic??? LOL ! ...What ya think?

Another time on a Greyhound the "scent cone" of 3 lbs of mexi must not have been strong enough to permeate the entire econo size roll of Saran Wrap surrounding it. Either that or the dog was not good at its' job. I'm thinking that had something to do with it because it didn't even notice the roach in my pocket. Talk about sweating. The cop showed the dog my bag and was like "Go get it! Go get it!" The dog just...turned away. Phewww!!!
