Better Yield- LUI 13 or White Lightning?

Hi Dutchgrown or anyone in the know, I was wondering which is a better yielder: LUI 13 or White Lightning? or is there a better yielder than those two in the the Dutchgrown catalog? thanks

Cool

I too had a similiar problem w/ this question......
I went White Lightening.......2 packs.......
and never second guessed my decision....
according to rumors....."the white" cut from Chrome used in the cross is actually......" Triangle KUSH".......
so for the price U get (kush x g-13)........how on earth could that be BAD.......

she grows well clones in under 7 dayz......a very Hardy plant w/ plenty to offer.......

Both are very good yielding strains. I have had more success White Lightning as it seems to be more forgiving for my growing style. But both are outstanding! Look for "The White" pheno when growing out the WL as it's outstanding! Great bag appeal...

The LUI is also outstanding! Seems to grow more vertical so i usually top it early in veg cycle.

Both are nutrient hogs. I've been adding extra bone and blood meal to my mixture along with my regular nutrients. Add each according to Veg or Flower cycle.

I have been extremely busy and havent had time to take many pictures but i'll have some of both soon.

BTW, look for the "keeper" mom in each pack. I have been finding one or two incredible phenos in each pack......

The choice of whether to top or not is always ultimately up to the grower, with the decision based partially on if increasing bud sites/branching is desired or if leaving ala naturale for a larger single cola is preferred. Space limitations might also influence this decision....only you know your garden dimensions and possible space constraints.

My preference is to top, it's my growing style with most (but not all) varieties. In my experience, The White reacts quite well to topping, as does G13bx, and yes, as their progeny White Lightening does as well. The White Lightening shown below was topped at I believe the 6th node, that's where I generally top, then wait to see how the plant reacts, and make a decision whether to pinch some branch tips as well, or top again, later on or not depending on what she tells me.

The pics below were taken a few days pre-harvest. Also included a couple of trichome macro shots for you as well.

(All these have been posted here in my forum before...I always refer to a variety by it's complete name to help folks using the search feature.)

White Lightening
