Question Seeds!?

Okay, seriously. What is the deal on seeds!?

Do they add into your "material" weight? Can you buy them? Sell them? Pop them beans and grow big beautiful plants out under the sun?!

Okay, that last question was to add weight to the whole question but I am honestly curious what the deal with seeds is. You see, I have some gear of my own I have been working on and I hope to release a few of them into the world by the end of this year. So naturally, I find myself wondering what the laws would be regarding that.

Anyone have an idea?

Oh.. and clones. Whats with those things? DNA is the same. In a big hydroponic container, the roots would tangle together. That sounds like one plant to me!

Actually, I was wondering. Is sale of seed regulated? Is there a "seed count" to be aware of, or some other limit?

To the best of my knowledge... local to CO... it simply counts against your usable weight of MMj... just like buds... counted by weight.

Best suggestion that I've been given is MIP License to do some real breeding... hash/cook/process the nugs, harvest & sell the seeds. Thousands dedicated to selective breeding.

See ya on the flip side!

Personally I prefer strains with high levels of psychoactive cannabinoids, or high yields, or nice flavors etc ... purple/red colors from anthocyanins are purely aesthetic and thus pointless IMHO ...

you can work with hundreds of plants... If you don't know what the F*** ur looking for... If your just looking for bigger size and vigor, then I don't think your gonna find those recessive traits we're looking for which is the drug trait. Marijuana Infused Products... cooks! ;-)

A major exception in the new law... kinda like a disp, yet kinda not. You can have large plant designations, potentially larger weight limits, & distribute to other MMC's. Interesting stuff.

The law:
(9) "MEDICAL MARIJUANA-INFUSED PRODUCT" MEANS A PRODUCT INFUSED WITH MEDICAL MARIJUANA THAT IS INTENDED FOR USE OR CONSUMPTION OTHER THAN BY SMOKING, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EDIBLE PRODUCTS, OINTMENTS, AND TINCTURES. THESE PRODUCTS, WHEN MANUFACTURED OR SOLD BY A LICENSED MEDICAL MARIJUANA CENTER OR A MEDICAL MARIJUANA-INFUSED PRODUCT MANUFACTURER, SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED A FOOD OR DRUG FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE "COLORADO FOOD AND DRUG ACT", PART 4 OF ARTICLE 5 OF TITLE 25, C.R.S.

Even though it says "Intended", I'm not sure that I would want to be the one running the test case there

Isn't the department of Revenue considering hash and oils as infused products?

looks like the way to go to me.

I was already thinking in a year or so, Colorado "caregiver hash" will likely make its way across the USA and become as famous as Panama Red.

he'll steal your women then he'll rob your head!

seriously, this shit IS GOING TO GO SOMEWHERE.

it'll be interesting to follow the path of hash around the world. There will be more made in CO than in Turkey of old...
