New Strain Needs Name - Test Grows ~ New Varieties - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Back story:

I have an old hippie buddy of mine who ONLY grows for him self and only a select few people (my self included) have ever even tried his bud. He has some real nice strains a few that is ONLY his smoke and no one other than him has even tried. One in paticular he calls Purple Kush ( I do not think it is THE purple Kush ) He got a couple of these "purple Kush Seeds" while he was in the Merchant Marines 30 years ago Hell he doesnt even know what country he got em from. Any way ... he has kept this strain alive and has been growing it ever since. A couple of years ago he got his hands on some Mr. Nice Super Silver Haze and crossed The Purple Kush with the Mr. Nice Super Silver Haze My buddie calls this cross Purple Haze ( ya I know there is already a Purple Haze) So know this is where I come in I showed him some pics of my Green House Seeds Super Silver Haze and he was amazed with the trich production of my plants and wanted to cross his new strain back into My GHS Super Silver Haze. So I get him a few clones and the seeds I now have in my possesion is an all new strain:

Purple Kush ( in flower this lady turns violet) X Mr. Nice Super Silver Haze X Green House Seeds Super Silver Haze

So what should we name her? I was thinking

Frosted Royal Haze (frosted because the SSH genetics) ( purple is the color of Royalty) And well Haze is obvious.

The Breeder has had the Mr. Nice SSH (female) X Purple Kush (male) For a couple years (at least). We will call it (BPH) Buddy Purple Haze.

The mother was Green House Seeds SSH X Father was BPH and This is the first run with these crosses.

thats like some kind of blasphemy crossing mr. nice's ssh with green house's. either way it sounds really nice. i have to say i totally dig that name. you could almost just call it royalty. not sure if you can really call it a haze due to the 1/3 indica backround... from what i understand most haze varieties are 80% or more sativa. by no means am i trying to knock your work or choice of name, becuase those are some serious genetics you got there. i'm sure you will get some bud thats fit for a king.

Well we named her Slurple, even in veg the fan stems are SOOOO purple, when I topped her she bled purple, I should have gotten a pic of that it was bad ass. any who I will get some pics up soon....
