What to expect from Mix Pack?

Just wondering what to expect in the mix packs. I have heard great things about Magus, friend of mine had some Warlock and it was fantastic. Are the strains pretty evenly distributed throughout the mix pack? Is there typically more of one strain than another? Thanks for the help.

Hello Ballplayer,

It's an assorted mix so it can be anything really, there are at least 2 varieties in there but it could be 2+3, 4+1, 2+2+1, etc.

If you want to be sure of what you've got you can e-mail the Product Identification Number to info@geneticcollections.com and they will let you know the contents.

As these are cheaper than any of the standard offerings, the content is not revealed before purchase.

Regards,
Gerrit

Gerrit, thank you for the input. E-mailing the product number will not be necessary, I trust you guys. Hear nothing but stellar things about your work. Just reassuring myself that I will hopefully be able to get a taste of a few of the strains you offer.

Frankly, I'm stoked you made a mix pack available. Not all breeders do such great deeds. I assure you its much appreciated on this end. Thank you.

Thats really cool that you can email them with the product number and they can tell you what strains you got in the mixed pack...I think my OCD tendecies are the reason, Ive never ordered mix packs before...because i like to know what I got growing, but this pretty much solves that...Very cool... Magus Genetics is great... Im about to start some Motivation and Warlock....soon.

finally got around to cracking a few 'mosaic' beans.
of the three i got two females and one male.
all three look very very similar, which makes me believe they are all the same strain. the only difference is that one of the females is about 2-3" taller than the other two.
i've been sifting through some photos trying to figure out what i have, but all your strains look the same!
that's not a bad thing, but it is frustrating, lol. anyway, i think i've got some good plants here with great genetics and i'm really happy with magus.
one question for you though, gerrit. is day #1 of flower when the actual flower is developed or when you flip to 12/12? it took my plants 9 days of 12/12 to show sex after 4 weeks of vegging.
thanks, and your breeder packs double as cool key chains.

Hi Antheis,

If there are different strains among the 3 seeds you've started, I'm sure the difference will become more apparent later in flower or after harvest.
The quoted flower times are counted from the flip but from mature plants, forcing them to flower early in life might lengthen the total 12/12 period that is needed before they finish.

Have fun with the puzzle.

Stability, in a seed strain, is an attribute, IMO.
Of course, examples exist, where variety is welcome, as in SSH (and many poly hybrids).

one smells strongly like freshly ground coffee.
the other smells faintly of a mix between cat pee, a skunk on the side of the road, and a really sweet pear and possibly mango. or rather all four mixed together.
flower formation over the past week, they showed sex last wednesday and now there are many flowers forming.
its starting to get exciting!
