Sandstorm

Hi just a quick grow log on this one.

I stressed the plants out during veg time deliberately. I wanted to see how hardy they were and what effect this stress would have on the adult flowers. As you'll see, it did no harm at all and the plant I chose quickly recovered. I found the strain very easy to grow, although i had to bend the outside colas out from the main bush due to the number of branches it put out (as I topped the plant). Every node a new branch appeared after switching to 12/12 and all of them wanted to grow straight upwards, causing a branch jam at the centre of the bush.

When smoking sandstorm, the name choice becomes quickly apparent. Its like walking through the desert with your mouth open. To call it a dry smoke is an understatement. The effects are quick to hit and pure indica in nature (at least in the one Im smoking), and not something to take to a party with you. On the other hand if you have trouble sleeping, or want something that wont leave you buzzed or "high" then this is one of the options to go for. I've seen people refer to a lower yield on this strain, I can't say I found that at all, but that could be pheno specific I guess. I had 2 girls and chose the larger of the 2 to flower out. I only do one of a new plant incase I'm not into the finished article, however I will be growing the sandstorm again in the future and suspect it would be a good parent plant to work with.

ok so some pics.

well that's it, and for what its worth, it's got my approval nice one CBG.

Thanks GMT.
Not much info on the sandstorm as of yet here on IC. I have ten seedlings going right now, and am looking forward to flowering them in a few...months.
