canon 550 D

any 1 useing a cannon 550D ? mine will be here on thursday i went for the twin lens kit . £1100 . after seeing the add on tv and watching some utube videos i had to have it .

I was looking at the EOS 550D for awhile .... until I found out about CHDK. Since I'm more of an advance amateur I realized the 550D was to much camera then my needs required. So I bought a SD870 and loaded CHDK onto it. I haven't looked back since. I now have 4 CHDK capable canons ... use them for my time lapse, astro photography and my lightning shots.

I have a few friends that are professionals and all have an EOS as part or their shoot kits ... They told me that the whole rebel series are pretty reliable middle of the road DSLR .. and one of the better ones at that price.

Yes i think the majority of shots on here are made with that lens or equivalent.
Any closer is with the 200mm lens or maybe even higher!
