Killer Queen Redux
Hey there Dutchgrown !
We spoke about photgraphy right before the 'Dam Cup in April. I was grow'n out some ChemD in a tent and mentioned I had some KQR in the vault. Well I took a few months off to just chill and am just starting a new cycle and have popped 4 KQR, hoping for the best. 100% germination with no special storage for the seeds until now. At this point they are about 1 week old and look'n as healthy as could be. Today was their first feed'n as well. 1m x 1m x 2m tent with 300watt LED coco hand water to waste. good vibes and karma to all! H.G. |

Hello! Nice to hear you've started some KQR. You have much to look forward to....here's an example of KQR, with perhaps some better photo skills I've acquired since we last communicated.
![]() Thank you for your interest and hope to see some awesome pics coming from you in updates! ![]() Good growing success to you! ![]() Killer Queen Redux Killer Queen Redux Trichs |

Thanks for the replies,
DutchG, I just read you were in Hospital. Get some rest! Your photos of the KQR are much improved, more depth (stopping down your lens now?) and less motion blur. Good stuff!!! I'm a pretty private person, but perhaps a few select photos may find their way to this thread. ![]() I do have a quick question, though. I was thinking of getting some Sweetest Cindy, but wondered about the ST component. ST is commonly described as having a licorice flavor. Is this the "anise" flavored licorice or strawberry fruity type licorice. If it is the former I was thinking of getting a different Cindy cross, maybe you have a suggestion. b00m, Not much to see right now but the tent (LOL). LED lamp is nothing special but gets the job done with power to spare. None of the commonly used brands on ICMag, but at this point I thing folks should start thinking in terms of acceptance instead of competition between brand names. This is it's sixth growing cycle so it has paid for itself and I'm just paying the electricity. In general: I only grow for personal use and haven't weighed any harvests for many, many moons now. I just harvest and dry, then cure in quart mason jars. Last cycle the chemD I grew out produced 2 1/2 jars per plant. I'm hoping the KQR will come in as bountiful. Later folks! |

Here's a few photos from week 7.
It's been a hot, hot summer and my female to male ratio turned out to be 1:3. Not to worry because the one that's a female promises to be a real pistil packing mama. I don't have the facilities to keep males at the moment, so the males were gifted to friends who would do some crosses and spread the goodness. She is 7 weeks old and about 16" tall, in a 12" coco filled pot. Just flipping them to 12/12 today, so the real show begins. Rez formula so far, but I usually hit them with half the Kool Bloom he does. 500 watts of LED in a Secret Jardin 4'x4'x7' Can 33 with 6" can fan. So without further ado I present My Killer Queen : I hope everyone enjoys the view... H.G. |

i am currently at 7 weeks flower with kq(r) and also sweetest cindy99. I will try to post pics but the kq are hugely fat and fast. At 7 weeks they look almost done. Both KQ and SC3 have been promoted to moms as i will replicate the most vigorious over and over.
I topped my kq 2x during a 7 week veg. I dont use a scale but i would guess 3 zips easy on one. The colas are fat. I took down one kq @ 6 weeks and have been enjoying it waiting on the rest of my girls. |

Dutchgrown's genetics are indeed wonderful and robust.
Feel free to post any pictures in my thread. It's about the strains, not about me. |
