Years ago, we would take coffee filters and 1 cup of silica gel using tape on the edges to make a packet. We would make 3 packet for 1 large coffee can and say a 100 grams of wet grass layering the packets and the grass. Then you seal the lid placing the can in the refrigerator for a week to 10 days. the finished product was some of the nicest grass I have ever tasted.

Well maybe if I'm storing some for a long time. I'll throw a packet in there just in case I get Condensation. But for a whole Harvest you might have to lug a fat sack of it in your drying chamber. By the way how long did it take to dry out when you used it?

Yah how long did it take the buds to dry out enough for smoking? And how much Silicat did you use? In other words how did the whole process go? I'm curious.

I usually do a Jar cure and I get some climaxx beads not before you go thinking it's some sort of anal bead sex toy let me tell ya what it is!
People that keep humidors (cigars) will often used these treated silica beads to keep proper humidity, they'll suck up excess moisture or put some out, they keep the humidity at about 65%, so once they go in the jar some DRY beads go in with them wrapped up and tied off in a bit of panyhose. It keeps the buds at a perfect humidity nice and pliable but not too wet! I swear by these! here's a link https://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/Pr...CC-CONSERVAGEL |

Not as much as you might think, Like may be 4 cups of Silica gel to a Coffee can full of bud. The grass was smokable after about 5 To 7 Days and remember this is in the refrigerator. It was like 10 to 20 day for closer to bone dry.

What are some other methods of drying beside hang drying and silica drying. I am trying to dry some buds I water cured for 6 days and I don't want them to get moldy. I can't hang them and I don't have much. It was an experiment. I need to dry maybe a gram.
