welcome to my little perpetual grow thread, which started small but is now quite a few "generations" old. I edited this first post as an index for the whole thread, which will allow convenient browsing through (hopefully) several years in a box. The actual box looks like this now:

The lamp is a TopGrow DuoFluor, sold here in Germany as a "Powerarmatur", with 830 PL-Ls by Philips.
The whole thing runs 12/12 only, a nice method to test out multiple strains in a short time.
After this one I'll do a selection run for a nice SCROG, just as the one I posted here
The Original Hazes were pollinated by a DoubleFun male, lets see what we get out of that

Just in case you were wondering about the title of this thread, this is my grow history so far:

Started in 2005 with a Homebox (They call it Homebox L now) and 400W HPS.



Then I planned and build my first custom cab, this time with a 250W HPS , accompanied by a smaller one for vegging / mothers / clones with a 115W CFL:




When I moved into a new appartment I needed a new construction, this time with a 150W HPS and the 115W CFL:



Finally, when I moved in where I live now, the "downsize this." - cab was born
This time I wanted a second smaller cabinet at the end of the airflow-chain to flower some males for seed production which worked out really well. I have now plenty of Double Fun F2s and Double Fun x Double Dutch seeds and I hope this run will give me some nice OriHaze x Double Fun, which I expect to flower much faster since Double Fun is a very photoperiod-sensitive strain. This whole thing is just for fun, I'll promise to never call me breeder

The downsizing also reflects my smoking habits: At first I smoked a lot, then I bought a vaporizer (Verdamper) and some time after that stopped smoking tobacco completely. Since vaporization is way more effective way to consume tha herb I needed less weed but didn't want to reduce growing because it became a fascinating hobby.

This is the third run in this cab, many more to come (which will be documented in this thread)

i really like the documentation of your past projects you surely tried alot of constructions.
hehe its even cool to see how the quality of the plans increased!

i bet it's pretty stealthy.

have you finished a grow in this new cab yet ? and if you did, how much did it yield, if i may ask :P

this is the 3rd run, the first was a more or less selection grow which resulted into 2 different Double Dutch phenotypes, one dense the other fluffy, both very potent. The second one was a SCROG with 2 plants each, resulting in 85 grams weed:

Btw, this is what the whole thing looks like:



The current run is more or less for fun as I said, looks a bit empty but I'll change that when the Orihaze finished

The veg cab isn't used atm, I'll replace the 23W CFL in there with a 36W PL-L, maybe even 2x36W. These are much better because the fluoroscent tube cover a larger area ---> better for seedlings.
The cab in the middle is occupied by my Verdamper vaporizer and the only thing others will see of this whole construction, call it a stealth alibi

Almost forgot:
I use a "Tropf-Blumat"-system supplied with water by the 7l reservoir and 3,5l pots filled with BioBizz Lightmix soil.
