can anybody advise me on the flowering temps for led lights is it still the same as using any other light where temps are best between 70-75 or should they be higher like 79-82?

my temps are between 79-82 degrees in flower as i think i read somehwere these are the best temps

im currently doing a test grow using a 345 watt led panel for the 1st time and just wondered what temps you guys are using in regards to the budding phase??

Your temps sound perfect to me, if you were using CO2 you might want it around 85F+
If your plants are growing fast and showing no signs of stress then let it grow man!

cheers for that my plants are fine and the only stress caused if any was by me and couple of outta range ph swings and my lower buds are cooking quicker than my main colas even with the light 18" above the plants (work that 1 out )

ive seen a lot of led grows springing up all over the net but nobody seems to give in depth descriptions as to temps ec ph etc etc which to me defeats the object of doing a journal or diary :( the least people can do when they make a diary is post in detail so we can learn what works and what doesnt.

i can honestly say that in my journals i try to be as specific as poss so people can learn from my mistakes and hopefully pick up some tips on how to grow better especially as led lights are new to the scene and we all wanna get the best outta them

With LED you want to water less, use less nutes, and keep the lights alot closer to plants than HID. Other than that they should grow like hell if you have a decent high powered LED fixture. I highly recommend using supplemental side lighting such as a 6400k T5 24" tube or two around the plant perimeter is really brings up yields and increases the flowering response under LED light.

If you ask me I think 76 is a bit cold for led's, I would go like 81-83 but if it was 90, it can still work.

Just depends, if your growing a tight scrog then yah you can raise the temps a bit 81-83 an have no prob. but if your just growing some bushes you can push it even further like the 90's!

i only grow in hydro so using less water is a bit difficult, on the flip side though you mention getting the lights as close as possible but the recommended height for a 345 watt panel is between 12 - 18" above the tops of your plants and anything closer can cause slow growth, im gonna lower it today to 14" and see if it makes any difference in the coming weeks,

absoulutley bang on about low nute feeds ive struggled to get over .8 ec in my entire grow and they seem happier on the lower nute dosages.

Bro, the less water comment is intended towards people growing in a soil medium or containers and such as they take longer to dry out usually with LED lighting because of less overall heat and radiant heat plus the plants transpire less in lower temps.

I have found that plants yield MORE in hydro set-ups using LED. As far as I am concerned it's the best way to grow with LED light.

I'm sure you will do just fine you seem to have it all together in your grow conditions.
