Thanks for clearing up my parentage question Raco. Is there any info about the MR x DC cross? Maybe somewhere in the Deep Chunk x Highland Nepalese F1 thread? All 97 pages of it...
![]() foomar those are looking especial so far. I reckon come October you'll have some wonderful trees You mentioned in your 1st post there were two males and later there was an 8' male--are they still around and what (if anything) did you do with them?grow on... |

Hi rabid , have not seen the first two males since they went in a greenhouse , am told they reached the roof and are now going slowly sideways , an ounce of pollen has been collected , dried and fridged.
They are so vigorous that i have no cross lined up now apart from a drawf C99 x Blackberry , happy to sort the numerous expressions from this one but have too much planned already to do much more. Reckon the girls have the vigour to flower as short veg clones and still yield decent , following clones will test this out. |

Two of these are amongst the best looking plants have ever grown , entirely sidelit now as the top foot is above the reflector and in basic soil with no added nutes.
Trichome coverage is impressive , they have the vigour to stand around the edge of a grow and still do well. |

Day 45 of flower , guess 70 - 80 for the first two.
Not had plants which follow the light like these do , fans quickly rearrange themselves to face the bulb at 90 degrees without any help when turned. This one has the strongest smell and most colour of the first three , odour is like old style solvent based gloss paint , an unusual terpene mix and better than it sounds. Sixty year old lens and a bit of sunlight , last two are colour perfect , shame about the leaf tip burn but the basic soil mix is a little too much for these despite flushing. |

Hi Raco , they are some of the lightest feeders have seen apart from pure Hazes , managed to burn the very tip of every leaf with the base nutes.
Thanks Lost , those BG,s have done quite well and the incross might be worth a shot. Day 61 on the edge of a room , top foot now illuminated from below and the leaves are getting confused , odour is strong and exactly the same as a tin of old style turps based gloss paint. This might be the one to keep , two have this distinct odour and the highest yielder is more of a sweet skunk at this stage. |

Finished from 90 to 120 days , had to be farmed out to a mates greenhouse to finish so no final pics.
The bud has had a good time in glass now and is something special , reminds me a little of old time imported Jamaican brick without the seeds and less wildlife. Zero bag appeal and looks poor till you crumble it , fingers are left greasy with oil and a pervasive eyestinging odour defy first impressions. Hits hard and fast albeit with a slightly harsh aftertaste , very uplifting with some body effect , perfect social smoke for xmas , nothing like this in circulation. Will be keeping a clone for next seasons greenhouse where it will excel. |
