Hi at all

I'm an Italian studen and I'm living in Toronto for a month, trying to improve my english language and to have a great time there.
I have few questions:

I know that it's actually illegal smoke weed in this state right? ( A part from medical purpose I've read on this forum) But, you see, as in Italy happens for me it's not a real problem if it is or not legal.

My question is, where I can buy it?
It's difficult for me, I don't know anyone from this city and I neither don't know any places where I can find people that are selling it.

What type of weed I could find in Toronto?
Just weed or also hashish?
Shall I use some particular slang?

(Yesterday I went to the exhibition place in Toronto but I hadn't found nothing!!!Just family not youngsters)

Yes, it is illegal everywhere in Canada, unless you are an MMAR patient. The only way you can buy it is to find someone who sells. Try asking a few people you think smoke discreetly. Other than that, it is against site policy to ask for hookups or to offer someone anything, so I can't offer more information.

Younge street in the evening. Just ask anyone standing around and I am sure you will score quickly. Just make the deal on the street and limit your buy just in case. Tell the dude if its good that you will be back... Enjoy a toke at THC... then go back LOL!

Or you could try to make friends at one of the cannabis cafe's in the city (e.g THC or Roach a rama).

I ve been to the pride yesterday and I ve asked for it,unfortunately I was unlucky as she had finished the weeds. Now I know where to look for as I ve found two shops that sell herb articles. Thank a lot!!!

you best me to it lol but keep on improveing pretty much any street corner I visited T-DOT about 2 months ago as I was heading out west for the summer wasnt hard to find a simple ten bag

Are you taking any classes while you're here in Canada? That's often a good way to find other people who understand your situation and smoke cannabis themselves. They could help you find some. Be careful about being too forward with people you don't really know. Get to know them a bit, and most importantly let them get to know you. Also, don't ask people until you know they smoke cannabis themselves.

In Canada, cannabis is probably most often referred to as "weed", although there are many other terms used. It is usually sold on the imperial (ounces, pounds) system of weight. Although sometimes 1 gram is sold, it is usually sold in 1/8 of an ounce (called "an eighth"), 1/4 of an ounce ("a quarter"), a half ounce, or an ounce. It will probably be easiest for you if you ask for an eighth or a quarter. Once you deal with quantities greater than an ounce, your legal troubles increase. 1/4 pound ("a QP") is 4 ounces, and possession of so much cannabis at ounce is often assumed to mean you are engaged in trafficking.

Prices will vary, and I really don't know what it goes for in Ontario. If I was to guess, I'd say you'd be looking at 1/4 ounce selling for approximately $80.

If you decide to try and buy cannabis off the street, be aware that there is some definite risk. Toronto can be a dangerous city at times. It's much safer to makes friends and find it through them.

PS: For everybody else, Canada itself is a state. The "United States" is called this to imply that it is something of a federation of independent states. These days however, it behaves somewhat like a single state with individual provinces. I don't know if that's what Fergus meant though.

Man I've head many people approach me with bud on Young str in the evening. Many times you just smell some bud as you are walking by some guy who's standing around.

I think this guy is gone back home now. But I agree with the above posters who suggested young st. I would start at the south end, maybe a few blocks north of the gardiner expressway and just walk north. If you can't score any in the evening by the time you get to thc/the vapor lounge, they you just aren't trying hard enough.
It is still illegal but the police regularly ignore it. I like to go hang out and rent bongs and pipe's at the Vapo lounge if that tells you anything. Its getting to be more and more socially acceptable everyday.
