as of june 15, McInnis was ahead in the race. We thought HB 1284 was bad, he will try to derail the whole industry.

Why do Republicans want more government in our lives?

Did we forget CO is largely a "red" state? THIS is why many of us have been pushing the re-education route in regards to medical cannabis. We need to inform CO's voters about the reality of cannabis so that they are empowered to see through the rhetorical nonsense come election time. Politically, MANY lifelong CO Republicans are already primed to consider other party choices because of the party's drift from TRUE conservatism to wacky socio-religious "conservatism." If we arm those voters with knowledge that highlights the medical, economic, and social realities of our industry and it's impact then they will be FAR MORE likely to see through the politically motivated lies. Only by seeing through the blatant lies of political hacks are we the voters likely to vote them out of office.

Rasmussen Reports always skews their data pro-Republican, as an FYI. He ought to change his name to Mc Anus it would be oh so fitting. I honestly don't think Maes or McInnis has a chance against Hickenlooper, but yes, Republicans are against Marijuana, or at least they campaign that way, typical right-wing TOUGH ON CRIME, or what their little minds think is crime. Maybe the guy is so out of touch he doesn't even realize it's LEGAL.
Hopefully if McInnis wins the GOP then Maes will run as a Tea Partier and they can split the right wing vote... in a perfect world!!

Yeah, my greatest hope for the Tea Party is that it dilutes the effect of the wacky fringe that has co-opted the Republican Party.

I am new to the state but I made sure to register. All of my friends that are moving here will be registered.
Besides, this ass clown is still on the campaign trail. Politicians will say anything to get elected. |
