LSD grow, 3 and a mutant
I started (4) LSD's from seed on the 6th so almost 30 days ago.
Two are just alike and really kickin, one was the runt but it's coming on, an one is a self topping mutant. All are going nuts under the 250w mh's right now. Here are the first two front runners Here is the self topping mutant I wonder if the self topping tendency would pass on to clones or if it's a one time deal? Provided it's a female of course. It does kinda look spread eagle like I like my women. Texas Kid |

Yea CC it did.
So it got up to node for the first true leaf set and sprouted 3 single blade leaves. Two of then turned into main growth tips and the third little leaf is sitting right in the middle of the valley. in the croch so to speak It's looks awesome. I will probably have to tie them together at some point. I still think I will top anyways for maximum overdrive on the budsites. hearty little plants though Texas Kid |

I sprouted 2 LSD beans a few months back. One was trilobed, but it finished normally (male). There were a few threads on OG on this LSD mutant. Maybe it does cause chromosone damage.
I just sprouted 4 more. There are finicky for me. All I want is one keeper.

Mutants
Bog
Is the mutant gene LSD worth screwing with? Are they typically male/female? What about potency and yeild? If it has negative tendencies at all I'll toss it to free up the space for a Bogbubble that is ready for the mh lights. It looks cool but, looks don't twist the brain. Well I take that back, I've had my brain twisted a couple of times by a woman ....I can't remember if herb was a factor then, oh well Texas Kid |

Look for hardy growers but don't limit the possibilities by destroying trifolate plants. This variation is a recessive not necessarily a mutation but it's semantics. A mutant in my book isn't usually worth growing but I have had hardy trifolates yield more in the same space. This trait can be accompanied by undesirable traits like runts and sickly plants also however and usually they do not retain the trait as clones but some do.
This cannot really be bred in but it can be allowed and I do allow it in my grows and I call the good ones, "self scroggers". Did you know that the supposedly original bubblegum clone was one of these self scroggers? BOG ![]() Quality is everything... :p

Bog
You were right the Bogbubble is rapidly catching up with my LSD on steriods.
They are growing like weeds, go figure. Are the nute requirments basically the same with both strains? What kinda ppm's are you running in soil? Granted I am in hydro but just looking for a barometer for what I'm doing. Texas Kid |

Sorry but I dont use meters or ppm's except as conversation pieces. Wish I could help. I feel LSD takes nutes about as well as my others. The key with any strain is feeding adequately with adequate light and room to continue rooting. If ph is maintained at 6.1-6.6 in soil not hydro, and it is well fed then it will yield great. BOG You will need to tune yours in to your system...
