realistically how many plants under 400hps + 150 - Female Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

hi is this a realistic number of plants to grow, id like to grow 6 plants 3 fs C-99 and 3 fs northern lights ill veg them for 4 weeks to keep them all medium/short(would this be right), under a 400 wat hps and a 150 hps, id spread them in a 6 formation and then stick the hps 150 over the end which is getting less light, is this to many plants, or could i fit some more thanks alot.

6 plants will fit however your gonna have to controll the c-99s height to maintain a even canopy

depends. I can only fit 2 17L tanks under my 400W and even then Im happier with my 250W going as well. Thats 6 very small single cola plants, 4 medium or 2 large. Yeild wise I find topping and a longer 6/7 week veg gives the best yeild and the fattest buds

If the C99 is anything like the grapefruit then it will stretch like crazy. The grapefruit triples its height.

If you go to the Organic Hydro section and check out Ebb and Flowing for Tk thread you will see 18 plants with 1 400 watt bulb.

The Result's:

If they get to tall Hell man tie them over put a little screw in your pot get out the kite string and show that girl who's boss. Rotation is the key and co2 helps a bunch. This is BOB and he is a 4x2 cab. You can still get fat Buds with a 400:
