Hashberry grow

I was going to wait until the Christmas mayhem was out of the way before growing again but could resist no longer, so here's the obligatory baby photo at 5 days old  They're in a 50/50 mix of All-Mix/coir at the moment and under a 125W 'blue' Envirolite. The back left one's a bit runty but apart from that they seem to be happy.

Hi Redseal,

They are looking good. How long are they going to stay under the 125W lamp?
Any particular reason why you mix in coir with your soil?
Keep us updated on their progress... and don't get lost in the X'mas mayhem. *lol*

I can't remember what I wrote before the accidental editing.. hehe. Um, this was them at 10 days. I think they must have been getting a bit short of leg room as a few days after repotting the curled leaves were reaching for the sky and growth speed started to pick up again. There's some signs of burning on the first sets of leaves on a couple of plants so I think the All-Mix was still too hot even after diluting it with coir, but all the new growth is ok so no panic.

Hi Redseal,

I am sorry to say that I accidentally hit the wrong button and edited your message, instead of replying to it.
Can you pls post your message again.

Below is my reply to the deleted post:

High!

They look fine to me. The curling can also be from fast growth. Yes, I heard that All- Mix is very potent. It probably has too much nitrogen since plants in flowering get affected quite badly by it (stem elongation ,retarded flowering, leaf burn). You might like to mix about 40% of it with regular potting soil next time, because this will ensure that the plants get a lot of natural nutrients during peak growth and then you don't have to feed them (or hardly).

Keep up the good work,
Mike

Thumbs up

Just bringing things up to date with a pic from today @ 15 days old. They were transplanted into pure All-Mix a couple of days ago so hopefully it won't be too much for them. The two on the left seem to be the most vigourous of the four.. the other two still have that curled down appearance to some extent but look healthy enough apart from that.

Yea.. I'll probably switch to that and the HPS when I put them into the final pots and need to cover a bigger area, so in a week or so I'd guess.
