So this guy was renting a house in this tiny village in the middle of Swabia, not far from where I live, and he converted the house into big grow. He was never around, and the landlord started getting suspicious, so the land lord just walks right into the house. Landlord calls the Polizei, they wait for him to return and the guy gets busted.

I thought there was some sort of law that prohibited a landlord from walking into your house.

I also believe there is a law that states the polizei cannot trap you.

an die beweise gekommen sind.

I think its universal that in renters agreements that the landlord can enter the property anytime if they suspect something is not right.

Possibly the landlord felt that something happened to the renter because they were never there when He came around.

EVERYTIME change the locks, 10 Euros, 2 mins work, saves you from years of jail. I had 3 landlords sofar, 2 of them came into my apartment for bullshit reasons(non cannabis-related). If i had been growing a this times, i would have been fucked.
And it's completly legal to change your locks in Germany, without notifying your landlord. Just make sure you have the original locks stored away so you can revert it to the original state.

hanshanf joar dat stimmt zwar aber völlig unabhängig davon gibts in deutschland auch kein beweismittelverwertungsverbot wies z.b. die amis haben.

d.h. wenn die hier illegalerweise ne tür eintreten und finden was illegales dann ist es egal wie sie zu den beweisen gekommen sind die werden trotzdem verwertet. bei den amis geht sowas nicht, beweise die illegal erbracht werden dürfen nicht verwertet werden. nennt sich fruit of the forbidden tree oder so.

der Vermieter darf NATÜRLICH in die wohnung rein, muss das aber vorher ankündigen.
frag mich halt auch wieso der typ nicht einfach die schlösser ausgewechselt hat nunja

wenn ich rein hypotethisch sowas durchziehen würd, würd ich
a) ne hütte nehmen wo es keinen gelangweilten vermieter oder nachbarn gibt der neugierig werden kann (am besten wohnungsbaugesellschaft denen ist alles egal solang die miete reinkommt)
b) die schlösser auswechseln
c) regelmässig vorbeischauen und immer freundlich die nachbarn grüssen / alternativ ne gute story parat haben warum man selten da ist
d) den teufel tun und sowas in nem kleinen kaff machen wo jeder jeden kennt und alle über alles bescheid wissen. ich komm selber vom land und in sonem kaff tratschen die den ganzen tag und wissen über alles bescheid.

ja absolut richtig ...
das einzigste was mir jetzt so spontan einfällt ist die geschichte eines mitgeschnittenen telefonats welches vor gericht nicht verwendet werden darf wenn der andere gesprächspartner nich explizit vorher auf die aufnahme hingewiesen wird
aber wie verhält es sich damit wenn du gerad mit jemandem sprichst der dir offenbart
einen menschen getötet zu haben usw ...
aber hierzulande haben die bullen ja auch das recht auf gefahr im verzug usw...
