Possible? Perennial pot plants?
So I was just in the backyard checking up on the girls, they like to sunbathe during the day; and I found this...
![]() ![]() ![]() I dont have any clue how this happened! She was a girl I had when I moved last year and I thought the move killed her so I just tossed her in my used bucket area. I'm out there today thinking to myself, "I should empty out the old buckets, these'll need to get repotted soon." I walk over to grab her and shake out the pot and there she blows! Has anyone experienced this before? I've kept plants in 'stasis' before and brought them back, but that was controlled. She spent a whole summer outside, no water, no nutes, nothing. Then she went through 500+ inches of snow this winter and yet, there she is. What should I call her? The mutations are crazy too, she didn't look like that while she was alive last year. |

It doesn't surprise me. Cannabis can be extremely hardy, and some genetics will run for two years or more.
Which is not to slight your specimen, clearly it is quite exceptional... just not "miraculous" ![]() What was the smoke like? Do you know the strain? Sat-leaning or indi? I imagine the "mutations" will grow out, they're not really mutations, just growth under stress. But do correct me if I'm wrong. |

Thanks for pointing that out. I checked out some cleome pics might be an interesting distraction/companion plant for stealth/guerilla situations. Hadn't heard of it before... |

perennial pot is Technically possible -- there is such a thing called evolution, ya know :p
no, its not cleome. it may not be cannabis, but not a cleome. it's stressed out as fuck, is what it is. ...you can see the new growth is getting back it's serrations and regular leaf shape. please post more info and pics bro. What lattitude are you at, how cold does it get in your area in the dead of winter, what strain might it be? etc etc etc, anything you can think of. |

Looks very similar to a cleome to me. I grew them last year as a cover plant and was not happy with the result for a number of reasons:
They attracted whitefiles like crazy I'm in Florida so I had to stratify the seeds in the refrigerator to get them to pop They do not like the FL heat. They got as much care as my girls but really didn't do well for me and I grow all kinds of stuff in my yard.
