Sad individual but then i notice by some of your posts you like to troll so i guess it's nothing new, still either way when i tested those long before the likes of you had your hands on them they yielded much better than what you could achieve but then as i said seeing your plants gave me a rather large chuckle.

For those that can grow these are heavy yielding plants where 3+oz in proper organic soil under a 600 watt is more than achievable maybe these seeds are anti troll or maybe as you were to tight to buy the seeds your clones were off poor pheno's either way enjoy or next venture and who knows one day you may even learn to keep your plants healthy till there finished flowering.

Not trying to instigate or anything but that plant looks REALLY short to have FMS Grapefruit in it, especially if it was vegged for 60 days, unless Ice is a non-stretcher. I know they don't stretch as much from clone but....

Anyway, been growing the original FMS Grapefruit for 3 years & from seed can stretch up to 4 times, maybe even a little more & from clone 2 to 3 times in height. Orig GF gets between 3 to 8 times the weight u speak of using 200w flouros for veg & a 400 for flower. Maybe I just have a stellar pheno or 2? Not trying to "boast" AT ALL, cuz I'm far from an expert, just pointing out that you should get more than 1.75 O's from anyting with GF in it IMO, especially under a 600!

Have u checked with ur friend to see what he averaged per plant?

I would lean towards you getting a cut from a bad pheno out of the lot. I would give it another shot with a diff pheno maybe....but then again....there are so many strains to grow & so little time....

I haven't checked up on this cross yet but it sure does sound interesting to me...

Perhaps I misunderstood, you haven't grown out this strain, have you?

FWIW, I've grown out at least 50 Grapefruit from seed and literally hundreds from clone, all under 600HPS'. It is indeed possible to have a GF pheno that yields an ounce next to a pheno that amounts to +3oz (dry/cured). Ask me how I know. As for my personal competence as a grower, some Iced Grapefruit:

Along with these plants, multiple colas the size of liter bottles, there was a pheno that delivered a much smaller harvest. It didn't look like the OP's plant, but that doesn't mean that similar variations don't exist.

These crosses use the new Grapefruit not the stock that people grew out from years ago, the new grapefruit is much smaller in height and much more citrus smelling so a smaller iced grapefruit or Big Grapefruit is more likely although there are 1-2 more sativa ish pheno's in general all new Grapefruits tend to be much smaller and so you will see this in the hybrids.

Also would have to say Simon your plants look much much more healthy than mr perfect environment there so your environment like mine must be super duper perfect and it looks like iron lion has still a lot to learn about perfect environments.

Simon,
I NEVER questioned anyone's growing capabilities, so presenting your resume isn't necessary, LoL....nice plants tho. I also said, and I quote....

...and here's the 1st line of my post:
Not trying to instigate or anything but that plant looks REALLY short to have FMS Grapefruit in it, especially if it was vegged for 60 days, unless Ice is a non-stretcher.

The key term there being....NOT TRYING TO INSTIGATE.

Anyway, thanks DJay for clearing up the fact that it's a newer version of GF than the one that I have, appreciate it!

I'm curious.. The main complaint is finding the production pheno?

I remember Grapefruit for 1977 it was a two hit lights out smoke and those bong bowls were the small metal ones of old.
The next strongest weed I ever smoked was Hindu Kush f2's

So this has flavor?
The taste then isn't Grapefruit? That's the original I tried in 77.. It tasted Grapefruit.

Any bad things about Iced Grapefruit?
