Iced grapefruit pics and a smoke report
Here is a single iced grapefruit I chopped recently. Got her as a cutting from a friend. He got 100% fems from 10 seeds and 2 main phenos.
The dried buds are nice and crystally, and have a strong sweet pink grapefruit smell and a pleasant body high. I was not satisfied with her yield, (1.75 zips from clone veg'd over 2 months in 5 gal bucket flowered under a 600HPS). She is a very tastey smoke but she wont be making it a second round anytime soon. |

Erm what weight is that then in English 1.75 zips means nothing to most of us seen as zip lock bags come in loads of different sizes ..
I averaged 3.5 oz per plant in soil fully organic under a 600watt hps with 6 plants in there with them so i really don't understand how much yield one would need per plant but to me 3.5 oz in 11ltr pots is a really good yielding plant for 8 weeks veg 10 weeks flower. Also your plant looks seriously worse for ware looks like overfeeding and general poor conditions she was grow out in. |

i grew out 2 seeds of IG and got 2 diff phenos, one more short and squat indica with sativa style buds with large calyxes, the other was tall skinny but loaded with resin and buds resembles a hash plant(very leafy but very resinous), both plants smelled nice but the one with the large calyxes smelled better.....but the taste was much weaker than the smell, the whole time i grew them i could smell the lovly smel i wanted to taste but after chop dry and a 2 week cure the buds seem to lack much flavor....i was kinda disapointed with the smoke, so i put my other 8 IG beans to grow this run to see if i cant get anything better and if not then i just wont buy more

I got several different phenos in my IG run. Some yielded extremely well. I kept the smallest one. It had the best and most pronounced taste and smell, as well as a devastating stone. Unlike the highest producing pheno, its buds are hard and tight. With a little work, I think this plant can work commercially. Running some test clones right now.

I was pretty pleased with how much my single IGF yielded. The bud's fairly leafy, but I have no problem with that. I made butter from the trim and the potency is no joke.
