DP Fem'd White Widow
I've been growing this strain for about two years now.
Heres some background; Light-1000W hortilux on a mover over an 8x4 table. Hydrofarm vented hood with a 260 cfm ex. fan into attic. Soil mix. 1 cu ft Miracle Grow potting mix, 5 lb of Black Kow manure, and perlite to taste. in 5qt pots. Ferts; Use Peters 20-20-20 during veg, 100-120% of rated amount using US standard measurements. Switch to Fox Farm products, as per chart, after transplanting from 1 gal to 5 qt pots. I have a seperate veg area with a Son Agro 430. In my gallery you can see my clone and mom area. That is using 2 70w hps security lights These are at day 16 of 12/12. I have 2 different phenotypes which will be evident as the weeks go on. ![]() [img]![]() Last edited by closetking; 04-04-2004 at 06:28 PM.. |

thanks for the feedback, I'll try to post weekly updates. These particular girls get harvested at about 49-55 days. I know, alot of people say thats not long enuf, but I assure you the microscope doesn't lie. I got real lucky with this strain, I'm pulling a crop every 9 weeks or so. Heres the biggest bud from my March hvst.
Just came out of the freezer, got a hook on the tip cause it was longer then the container. 8.5 " long and wieghs 20 grams. I love this White Widow. Click for Larger Image Click for Larger Image |

DP fem
you haven't mentioned the best part - the smell. this was the first strains i grew along with skunk #1. and like you, it is still one of my favorites. the high is spectacular, and the smell is right there. uniform growth also seems a characteristic. DP did something right here.

Yes, a very deep, and rich aroma when growing and when cut. Seems to have a subtle hint of coffee.

Heres day 29. This is the turning point when all the energy goes to fattening up the buds. These started frosting up heavy on day 20.
