Chunk D shots (Deep Chunk x Sour Diesal)
Here are some shots of the Chunk D gal I have flowering. She is @day 31 of 12/12. Very dark leaves, with a glossy look, must be taking the deep chunk side of things!
First 2 are when she was in veg, last 2 pics were taken yesterday. Smells very pungent and hashy/skunky, what you would expect from a deep chunk cross I think. OPT

You've got a beautiful girl there. I hope she rewards you at harvest time.

actually i'd say by the looks of those leaves it's more sour d dom. the glossy darkness on the leaves comes from the dc but that leaf shape is totally sour d. every dc dom pheno i grew had the most indica looking leaves i have ever seen. super super wide leaves that overlap eachother. any way your chuck d is looking great man. keep up the good work.

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate it.
hopleaf - I've never run either one of them, but the leaves are distinctivly differnt from any other strain I've grown, so I thought the leaves were DC, but that's cool to know if it is a sour D pheno, I dont mind that one bit! I love sour diesal. Dave - I have pretty good expectations of the yield, I just recently popped a bamboo stake in the pot and tied up her buds, they are by far the most compact buds in my tent, and they would be falling over for sure in another week or two! So far, I'm impressed with this female. And the good part about it all is that I got a cutting of it that I'm pretty sure is rooting, so if she turns out to be as killer as it might, I might have a mother plant of it! OPT

At last some Chunk D shots! I've had seeds for ages and thought it would be more popular than it was - but very few grow and smoke reports around.
So thanks OPT - please keep updating this thread and a smoke report at the end would be appreciated. B8.

The one you have is the one you want...did you replicate it? You're fortunate, Deep Chunk likes to dominate in most crosses, so Sour Diesel shining through is great. If you get the Diesel flavor and yield and Deep Chunks quick flower and resin cake, you have a grail on your hands!!!! Sweet. Sweet. I know both plants very well as individuals and in this cross and other crosses, I have sour p running now and its orange peel amazing, I have this but have yet to run sd x dc. I have c99 x deep chunk too, and Cindy shines through in yield, color and it has a pineapple reek, but deep chunk structure and food leaves.. if you have any questions, hit me up.

has some sinse - Thanks for the input man. That's good to know that people agree that I have a Sour D pheno, that's fine by me! When I first germinated those seeds, I was hoping for a more Sour D leaning pheno, but I by all means didn't mind a deep chunk pheno, because I've never grown either!
But one of the lower branches I took off that gal I threw into a glass of water and left in my veg cabinet, and after a few days I noticed some stubs, so I planted it in some coco. It's yet to wither, but yet to grow any new growth either. I think with it being a cutting that was taken in flower has something to do with it, but I just hope that the clone does indeed start to regrow now. If not I can always try to reveg that plant after harvest, but I'd rather just have that clone survive! OPT

Pic taken today.... Day 37 of 12/12 (if my memory works)....
They are bulking up like crazy, I'm clad I tied them up already! I'm pretty sure the smell I have is of the diesel. I'm hoping my clone makes it of her. It hasn't wilted once in 2 weeks, and I planted it in coco when I noticed nubs on it when it was sitting in a glass of water for a couple days. OPT
