Should I Shoot My Rabbit?

I am facing a real dilemma.

This stray rabbit that found it's way to my yard got hurt last nite.

It can barely move it's back legs, I think they may be broken.

The rabbit has made it 24 hours like this, and seems willing to hop around the yard to eat.

It is sad to see, the rabbit can't use his back legs, and is barely able to crawl around the yard.

I know I should shoot him and put him out of his misery, but I just can't do it.

He seems so willing to try to live, and I don't know what to do.

I am afraid he will die slowly and get infections and die in pain.

what do ya'll think I should do?

That is a sad situation.

I am to tenderhearted to kill him unless I really feel he is in pain and hurting with no chance to live.

No animal control to euthanize things here in the country.

It is man up and shoot it or let it suffer.

damn, I hate this.

It is like the last scene from old yeller.

there ain't no animal control to call here. that is only in the city and stuff.

I can make it not hurt to shoot it. I got a 12 gauge.

I been feeding this rabbit out of my hand for months.

It is a stray that came up in the yard.
