Somango

BREEDING - Super Skunk - Big Skunk Korean - Jack Herer

Indica: 75% Sativa: 25%

MINIMUM YIELD 15-20 grams ~ FLOWERING 9-10 weeks

Somango blends the multiple hybrid Jack Herer with Big Skunk Korean to form the fruitiest of all Soma's strains. Previously known by Soma #5, this complex cross was renamed for its tropical mango aroma and flavor. Somango is optimal as a multiple branch plant, since its genetics encourage long side branches and a height on the taller side. A sea of green method can still be undertaken, but branching and height will need to be controlled. Soma prefers to grow on soil indoors with fully organic nutrients, but other media will also give satisfactory results. As it matures, the leaves shade to purple and the buds become covered in a carpet of crystals that makes fine finger hash. While a moderate yielder, Somango's bud possesses sublime qualities. The fragrant and tasty Somango smoke delivers a buzz that is very uplifting and mentally stimulating in its effects. You can smoke this pot without turning into a remote control-wielding couch potato. Euphoric and alert, Somango is a good choice for shifting mental attitude and is a good companion to all of your favorite creative undertakings.

Yep! That's Her!
I have grown Somango #5, and you are in for a TREAT! She loves to clone and she absolutely loves a screen-o-green too! She is a HUGE yeilder and excellent high to boot! I grew SCROG with 4 ladies in a mini-drip sys. under a 400wt PL light with a Hortilux bulb and she yeilded a whopping 24 fat stinky ounces!
You're gonna LOVE her!

Thanks for the report iv seen very little from people who have grown out the somango so your words were much appreciated.

I kept a clone of both phenos but there wee lil babies compared to their bushy counterparts.

Feel free to describe all aspects of somango as much as you pleas as i would love to hear.

I had the best luck with the larger and bushier pheno, the one with the fat leaves! In a scrog she took a full 10 weeks but could go 11 and her leaves will turn a lavender/blackish color when she is reaching peak ripeness and that's the time to cut her top kolas and if you can wait, leave all the lower flowers to go another week so they will hit peak ripeness that way all of your buds will be top shelf! the next time you clone it is better to take the top as a clone but the lower branches will grow into nice full sized plants too! I just always cloned the tops because that's where all the plant energy is at and the highest level of hormones, I grow a perpetual harvest style to make the most of my plants and always cloned the tops before putting them into the flower room. I never clone a plant that has been in 12/12! I wish I had some pics to show you how she turned out but you'll see in due time! The longer you let the buds dry and cure the better the smoke and high! I feed her Technaflora BC Nutes recipe for success system and she loved it, Soma recomends organic soil growing but she does excellent in a hydro system too! Just be PATIENT and good things will follow!

The larger busy one went herm on me 2 and a half weeks in to flowering.

found 2 male sights with nanna 's not opend yet had to gie her away.

I feel like it was just the long life span and all the learning it endured.

Either way it was a sad day.
