Hei,
Unfortunately I'm not a native Finn and my Finnish is not very good so I'm posting this in English. I hope you understand. ![]() I would like to hear about ordering from Nirvana to Helsinki. I am considering ordering a 10-packet of seeds from them, however I'm concerned about the quality of the "stealth" shipping and customs (Tulli) finding them. Has anyone ordered from them recently? What was your experience? Could anyone point me to the relevant section of the legal code, is there anything mentioned about seeds? Kiitos!

Seeds are legal in Finland, but growing them (or intending to grow them) is illegal.
Best bet is to ship the seeds to a safe address, because even with stealth packaging Tulli may find out what's inside. They scan everything that comes in.

I have ordered other kinds of seeds coming from Amsterdam previously and they made it through Tulli fine. These were not Cannabis seeds, but still would be illegal plants to grow.
Perhaps I'm just being too paranoid, but it would be nice to hear about any experiences (good and bad) ordering Cannabis seeds.

) from Greenhouse Seeds and had no problems. My friend did the same, and the cops came 2 months later. Got any friends moving out of Finland in the near future? |

![]() I guess the cops may have shown up expecting to get a bust for growing. Since seeds themselves are legal, I assume they couldn't just knock on your door the next day and bust you for having seeds sitting in a container somewhere. Instead they would wait for you to either germinate the seeds (intent to grow) or have your grow up and running and bust you for that. I hope your friend didn't get it too bad. :( |

Never got em started
But yeah, it's a shitty thing here. People have been stopped coming out of growshops and having their purchases AND homes searched, just for visiting a 'hydro' store. |

Never had problems with customs, some packets never came, but i put that on the disgruntled postal workers stealing my cash or sumtin..
Always used a safe addy tho, and i would recommend you getting one before ordering seeds.

I guess it would be okay to order then, as long as I wait several months after the arrival of the seeds. Just to be safe.
The other option is to take a trip to Amsterdam and pick some up in-person but I think going through airport security would be worse than the checking done on postal mail. Now they have those privacy invading full-body scanners. Maybe in another 10 years we'll be forced to consent to an actual strip-search instead of a virtual strip-search every time one wants to visit another country. You're totally right. The situation here is terrible. Amsterdam has it very good compared to us. |
