Looking awesome, Grape!

Having grown out so many of the SBubs, could you describe the aromas from the different phenos you have encountered? I have only had a few flowered out so far and I am not seeing lots of diversity in the structures, but the aromas seem to vary some, with the candy similar to the sbbx4ix1 being the most prevalent.

My Sourbubble BX4 only had 2 phenos, one had red stems, one did not.

But they basically tasted to me like a juicy Christmas tree. A real old school, kick ass buzz.

Best weed I have ever grown, and I got 30 years ezperience.

O great GP, u are a master gardener.

I want all your beans...

thanks for the compliments Lola, so glad you enjoyed them!!
upon re-reading hoosier's question, was he talking about "Sbubs"
being Sour Bubbles or my Sour Bubblegums (ogbxsbbx4)? i suspect sour gums?
Having grown a pretty good lot of sour bubblegum plants, the phenos tend to blend the bubblegum flavor profile with the kush side of the sour bubbles...
great resin production, good yielders when trained, very dense nuggets,
most sourgums will turn autumn colors towards end of flowering (reds, violets, purples, magenta) though an occasional pheno will stay green. some phenos picked up a very grapey bubblegum flavor through the kush flavor, reminding me of a very old clone
called goofy grape. some people i puff with commented on how exotic the flavor was
and how they could taste it all the way through a joint. there is a good bit phenotypical variation as expected- some phenos looked a lot like the OGBubblegum, with the tight dominant colas that exude resin, the less leafy phenos tended to fall towards the gum family, whilst the phenos with a bit more leaf (though no less trichomes) tended to lean towards the sour bubble bx4. 1 pheno in particular was very LARGE and vigorous, seemed to be a perfect blend of the bubblegum and sour bub. another pheno was smaller yielding and very branchy and seemed to be mostly bubblegum-ish. the phenos that branch/stretch more should be dominated by the OGBubblegum mother, while those phenos that are shorter and stockier seem to be dominated by the sbbx4. the wider leafed phenos are sour bubble dominant, the skinnier leaved phenos are bubblegum dominant.
i'll hit more on this in a bit

i will identify some of these by showing you the photos that lean towards both sides and labeling them, stay tuned
