Hello ICmag, I have recently moved to california. I have a question for anyone knowledgeable with prop 215. I have property and do live here but I am off the grid. I produce my own power, water, etc... It states to get medical marijuana under 215 you must either have a state drivers license, or have a utility bill under your name to your california address. I have a license with another state, and being off the grid, I have no utilities. I suffer from much persisting lower back pain and insomnia, much help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Why don't you get a state ID? Or is that part of being off the grid... state id functions the same as a drivers license, as far as id goes.

I'm not sure there's anyway to qualify without a license.

Get a state ID. It works just like a DL except you can't drive.

I have heard that some places in SoCal will give recs to ppl with oos licenses. There were doctors at the Medical Cannabis Cup giving recs to Out Of Towners. It can be done, with some research.
