Has anyone here done TFD's Original Haze?
Has anyone done it outdoors in subtropic or tropic conditions?
How closely allied is it to the original Haze produced by the Haze bros in the 70's?

yes i have
it is a quick grower in veg and then a slow budder.it went 12-15 weeks. yield was prety good for a pure sativa. the taste was nice a light spice is what i was left with after a joint, the main thing about this is the enrgetic buzz it gives you

May i ask you some question?

How many O.H seeds you've popped?

Original Haze from the 70's = acapulco gold x colombian gold x south indian kerala x thai (in no known particular order). It was a 4 way polyhybrid with massive hybrid vigour.

Original Haze from T.F.D = the OH of the 70's (haze bros.) but massivly inbred for the best of the best, by the skunkman (but eddie(tfd) was the partner of the skunkman....). So no hybrid vigour in this one(quite low potency in bud form) but its a fantastic breeding parent & my guess is : if you grow a large number of O.H (like 50-100) you can find the best of this genepool, and then make pure head resin with it...i doubt that pure heads could be below approx. 30% THC, so a hit of this = a hit of the 70's OH but better IMO. Or simply cross the OH with any other very cerebral pure sativa.

i dont know about any 12weeks really. more like 17-18. its good weed, it needs uv-light. a little below avarage yeild, but its very potent, and the most powerful high. ever. it should do well in the tropics i guess, i bet it will become quite large.

Thanks ojd! I'm glad to hear someone's actually grown her out. I've long liked the sound of this stuff but wonder what consistency you'd get amongst the phenos? Was there a lot of variance? Was the average smoke just average or was it way up there somewhere?

i totally wanna get some of their haze now! i have to germ all these other seeds first though..wouldn't want them to go to waste. *sigh*...so many seeds, so little time

I feel the same way. I want more strains but I got so many now and I haven't even begun to grow them.

OGer from 2000-2006. I have had Original Haze that was almost like acid, unexperienced smokers would white-out or pass-out, or throw up after a toke or two... Oh, and it was Euphoric to say the least. I would feel like I was floating in a cloud, or held in the hands of a comfortable giant, I had no need for anything, I was totally blissed. - Sam the Skunkman
