Question If weed is legalized in Cali....

What will change for medical patients?
will I only be allowed a tiny garden and one once or will the med rules stay the same?

Med rules don't change, this has nothing to do with Prop 215/SB420.

it makes it even better for med people because med people can now take part in a legit business where they can sell to everyone and not just patients. You may have to get a 5000 dollar permit, but you dont have a plant or space limit at all even with out it because of the existing mmj laws and court precedents. also you wont have to pay the steep taxes. there is so many loop holes through this combo of laws that if you are a med patient you can bank, with just the space in your house, and back yard.

Hey HZ, do you think I could put up a roadside stand and sell legal MJ in front of my house?

If weed is legalized in Cali:

the price will drop like you have never seen (alcohol during prohibition makes a great example)

growing will become very similar to growing tomatoes (you can find seeds for tons of phenos, but the only people who will grow will be people who are looking for "grandmas garden tomatoes" for taste, potency, etc. - otherwise, just go to the store)

mainstream marijuana will be taken on by major corp cash crop companies - big tobacco, sunkist and other Ag companies (quality will suffer a bit, but Im sure as with alcohol, the more you pay, the better you get)

as time progresses, all forms of cannabis will be bred into autoflowering forms for ease of growing. (its been done with nearly all forms of veggies, I dont see why theyd stop there)

Until the Feds make it legal, you are still limited to 99 plants. Yes, you can grow and sell to your neighbor, but if you are depositing big bucks in the bank, you will have to be prepared to explain where the money came from. Cash deposits or payments are reported to the IRS. When it comes right down to it, you are suppose to report money you make from a garage sale!
