....I've been workin' with OG Kush X BS2.2 and BS 2.2s..........actually into the next generations (f2) and used both lines in many outcrosses but........just have some questions.

1. I know Steve and DJ Short were involved in the orginal Satellite selections....were they the only two principles involved in makin' selections?

2. What breeders were involved in the BS 2.2 selections and the breedin' of the OG Kush to the BS 2.2?.......and what yr was that all done?

3. Is there a chance somebody can get the whole series up and available?

Basically....if there is a way to have a time line for the makin' of the Satellite series and a little background on the concept and selection process...I'd be most interested. I'm a fan.

Steve and i were involved in the makings of the Bluesatellite#2.2 . While making the seeds i stuck a few clones of plants i had been enjoying and thats where the Blubonic, Donk and Og kush x BS were made. They were made circa 2005, i will have to find my notes for the exact dates.

Will ya be doin' any mo' work with the Satellites?

Last summer I germed F1 OG Kush X BS 2.2 outdoors with some Wonder Diesel and some Congo.....fucked up and forgot about them....killed all but 2 from each strain. Ended up with males and females in all....and was able to do a very limited incross on each.

So these are some of those F2s I made usin' one male and one female.....

OG Kush pheno....shown at day 46...already flushin' to finish....stanky stanky....not just of the OG though...somethin' else in there common to the Satellites....tight ass nuggets...easy to grow....I just kinda had forgot about her...then poof...nice.



....This pheno...flushin' at day 51....stretcher....resin machine...like a vine....she had to be topped in flower when she hit a light...I skim 600s on movers...close.....

I'm seein' this flower structure in the Satellites and in the satellite outcrosses I've made....it's a good thingy to see....means yer gettin' a candy pheno....I did find a pheno that lacked flav....but these candy phenos are $$$$$$ all day....love that flav. I've a beasty girl followin' these up...clean up hitter....I'll post her when she goes into flush.....

Pablos, thanks for throwing up your pics, shit looks great! I just grabbed some ogxbs and am perusing for info. How stable were the f2's you think? It seems like many of the SOL strains produce fairly stable f2's... Also how dom do you think the BS was in the cross? I'm looking for more sfv leaning FWIW.

Great pics Pablos...i wish my plants looked like that when i forget about them...lol. Iam not planning anything with the Satellites as of yet, there are plenty of beans left. Maybe in the future i would.

...cobcoop....I'll lay it out fer ya in all honesty...no politics broham...these are worthy beans. I know some found a OG pheno in the F1s....as my F1 generation was 1 female 1 male (my fuck up)....I didn't get a good look. The F2s....awesome...really..they are that good. Outta 4 females in this spread....1 fer sure a Kush structured girl....so 1/4 to me is like as easy as pie....I'm hopin' the BS added somethin' special to the flav....but OG on its own....still holds up imo.

There is a lot of Satellite influence....even in my outcrosses to DJ's Blue Moonshine....she dominated....I grew and have been breedin' with the straight 2.2 all winter.....I'm gettin' into those beans again and again....lately to CBF's Straw Dog/S'Creme n dawg...just havin' a real good time and good fortune with the Satellite.



Above is a mutant Muscle Shoals = Blue Moonshine X OGxBS2.2..... Satellite dominated....this pheno will be a sugar candy....I've sampled a snapped bud (always bendin')....even uncured..no flush...amazin'....same Satellite undertone. Bunch of this stuff was posted in my Pet project thread over on Legends/Short thingy.

Pablos, thank for the straight answer! I have no doubt I'll find something very special in these. I didn't want another one of those "man I should have grabbed that while I had the chance" deals. Judging from your pics and descriptions it looks like I might have to bump thses up in the rotation.

...day 43....I'd say I've seen 3 phenos in the F2s....well 2 fer sure....this one has a mo' dense/solid flower structure...not heavy ass thick indica density....but fairly solid.

Not such a sweet candy smell....this one is somethin' else....bland in comparison of her sisters...I found this same kind of difference in the 2.2s as well....one pheno kinda blah...the other...a pot star. Attractive flowers....the lot of them I've found....but the candy smells are the give away to some choice phenos imo....the OG pheno is kinda on its own....I mean pretty distinct.



I bounce my PH deliberately...not much...but enough to make differences.....this plant didn't like the swings (5.6-6.0 in coco....generally I stay between 5.8-6.0)....some swing...some don't...but ya can see it in her leaves....

she was girdled today as she started flush....I like the girdle ritual....and some plants seem to turnover nicer with girdles cut in....but it's mostly ritual fer me. I'll finish her off fer the next 10daze or so....

hello guys! i'm planning on crossing a OGK x Bluesat. cut i got with some SFV OGK x Chemdog pollen from Res. that's sitting in the freezer...this is gonna be cool...OG Kush is one of the tastiest weed around IMO and if the Blusat "knocks down" the potency a bit it's all good 'cause i found the OG to be a bit too much on that side...
