Went skydiving last summer for the first time. By far one of the best things I have ever done. Biggest rush ever! I went tandem to experience the freefall. 60 secs falling through the sky, felt like time and everything was standing still. Instructor, let me control the shoot while in the sky. Wow!

Tandem!!!!LOL,why he hell would anyone jump outta a perfectly fine airplane strapped to another without your own chute?
I did it the old fashioned way,5 tandem jumps and a hop and pop to get my logbook,not as active as I used to be but I can go again if I want to!!Fuckin scary jumpin outta a plane!!!

Ya, with the solo jump until you get certified the shoot is automatically deployed 3 secs after you exit the plane. The freefall for me is what it was all about. Falling 120mph, 11,000' from the ground for 60secs! Whoa!!

Talk about a 1 hour (after effect) adrenaline high! Knee's shakin' all the way home.

Glad I went tandem. I was so mesmerized by the thrill of the free-fall that I completely forgot to monitor the altimeter and would have forgotten to pull the rip-cord if the instructor hadn't been more attentive.

It should be on everyone's bucket list!

I want to go skydiving... but there is something about jumping out a plane that gets me...
If I pay for a ride up there, I'm expecting a ride back to the ground, lol.

I say just do it. I don't think you will regret it at all. The feeling/experience is un-matched.

I think I have a fear of voluntarily falling from 11,000 feet and relying on a backpack to save me... Looks fun, but I don't think its going to happen any time soon.

I'm into paragliding and parachuting
got my kids into paragliding as well when they were younger
here's my son on his 13th birthday paragliding tandem in Turkey
only one I've still to try is BASE
