RO water PH'ed to 5.0 and ran through untill run off is 5.8. Canna coco flushes easier then Bio-Bizz, much easier. Those are the only two I've used. It can take a lot of water to bring the PH down from high six. PPM's get down to almost nothing after a large pre-flush which is good as then I have total control over whats going in.
Then I pre-load the coco with a light [300PPM @.5] nute and pop in my clones. I can get away with no flush in a pinch, but then I'll get PH spots and really yellow lower leaves and slightly slower growth right out the gate. Hope that helps. |

Nope, I would research it heavily and flush the heck out of it just in case.

I guestimate how much I'm going to need and then float it in a bucket of hot water for a few hours. I drain the water off and then do the same thing 2 more times with the hot water pH'd to around 5-5.5. I measure the EC each time I float it, by the 3rd soak it's pretty close to the EC of the water alone and I call it good. I then stick the plant in and water it thoroughly with the nute solution while the coco is still wet. If you have Piece Coir, keep it wet. It can dry out fast, especially if you have a big plant in a small pot. If it dries out more than about 50%, bad things start happening quickly. |

is this what you have?
I used it. Got good results, but I needed to flush heavily... I just used tap water and a hose. In a 18 gallon rubbermaid tote and fished out the coco and thru into a 5 gallon bucket will hella holes drilled on the bottom..

i use plagron coco coir. but i dont measure the ph when flushing, i flush the coco with pure tap water (EDIT: adjusted to ph 6.0 with canna ph- and sometimes enzymes) until the EC is at 0.2 (same as the tap waters). at the start of the flushing the ec is at ~0.6
