My local Walmart says they won't be restocking their continous feed potting soil. They have a mix called "perfect mix" by Expert.
Is it any good or what do you suggest?

All the feeding soils have in them is osmocote which you could add yourself as they are sold in the feeding sections. The thing is to find a heavy rich soil not that light crap. You really need to use what is best of what is available. Miracle Grow or Shultz will do and any brand is worth a try if not real light. A heavier soil is best and then adding perlite to lighten it. Don't know if this helps but I use the "Sun Land" Garden products and I get great results. All organic potting and planting mix with Peat moss,,rice hulls,fur bark, cocoa bean hulls,kelp meal, bat guano,earthworm castings and lava rock. I'm sure i left some other stuff out but you get the idea. These guys are out of Watsonville, Ca. and you can check them, out at: www.sunlandgarden.com
