im planning a trip for 1-2 days in amsterdam just to smoke some variations and maybe bring some with me muhaha

what do u think i need to pay for a cheap hotel and for the food drinks and weed in 2 days?

hotel around €50-100 a night ,,food depends on your munchie status ,anything upto €100 a day ,coffeand soft drinks 2-3 euros ,beer 5euros+,toking depends on your tolerance ,weed ranges from 6-18 € a gram (+/-)hash ranges from 6-60€ a gram (+/-)...

take twice as much as u think u need ,amsterdam does get rather costly ,,but worth every penny

yup, everything Hazy says there is bang on.... I would add that you can save a few euros by buying food/beer at the supermarket as you would most places

Used to be worth it but not anymore, it's such a pale shadow of what it once was. 7.50 for a JD and coke, 12-14e for mediocre weed, it's a tourist trap, disneydam.

Only worth a visit if you haven't been before.

We hardly ever get food on the go whilst there, Albert Heijn is a great super market with normal prices, and loads of tasty stuff we don't get at home. They also have a god selection of foreign beer, belgium beeing my favourite, with around 11%

If you're not too picky, hotel room can be found for some 35e or so. Decent grass and hash are also available for 8-10e, more popular / touristy shops are of course more expensive. Maybe check out some other city in the NL? Quality and prices are better outside A'Dam.

Lots of good shops outside the Dam, usually same weed but at 25-30% lower prices. Some places i can highly recommend:

Plein 48 in Zutphen (a must visit for hash lovers)
The Zoo in Zutphen
Bazar in Apeldoorn
T'Bunkertje in Apeldoorn
Upstairs in Arnhem

None of those are near the Dam, just some places i visited and liked earlier this year.

check out lucky lake hostel...its in Victaveen(SP?) about 45 mins by train. Its kinda in the middle of nowhere so bring everything you need till your next trip into Amsterdam. Not a bad place if you just want to chill and smoke yourself silly with friends.

If your going to stay right in Amsterdam I would pay the extra $ for a decent place. I have stayed in some shitty one. Nothing worse than a small room with attached shower and a bunch of people.....Seriously...I thought I was walking into a turkish bath that smelled of feet and ass. Most of the buildings are really compressed and tiny....Not a good idea to cram a bunch of people in a room on a hot sticky summer day.

If you can deal without beer, soda and cigg smoke that saves alot of $. Just stick with water and weed. Well Heineken is cheap, but they make god awful beer that I turn my nose up at. Also a lot of the deli have really good prices on sandwiches and pastries. Just shop around and stay away from the mainstream areas. Get some weed, go exploring, eat, get more weed, go get lost again...its fun...granted the weed probably had all to do with the fun part....

hotel brian is really cheap. 2 persons 50 euro a night. but very hostel like. u can toke everywhere in this hotel, even toilet lol. for weed or hash you rather go outside a'dam, harleem is good or apeldoorn. but u can also get cheap weed in the city, u just have t search. there are little coffeeshops in small streets everywhere in the centre such as coffeeshop funny people or rock café... and I think you can also drink a 20-30cL beer for 2-3€ if you are not choosing a fancy bar. the doors coffeeshop is a nice mixture between bar and coffeeshop. drinking your beer and having a joint...

well I guess it's time for me too to go on an a'dam trip. it's just 400km away, yet too much work to do :-(
