wow i haven't gone to one of these in several years, i believe it was in the san fernando valley somewhere, chemical brothers played, there was a lot of great music, i did not however like that they had a speaker speak some very lofty high and mighty we are the world speech and then all of a sudden there were people out en masse trying to get all the attendees to sign a petition or something of some sort, i don't recall what it was that they had but the political agenda thing really turned me off, i'd go again keeping in mind i'm there strictly for the music, that part was off the hook and a great time
edit - chemical brothers really were amazing, after writing that i started thinking about the music more. chemical brothers did a live pa, man they were rocking on their lil roland tb 303 along with 20 other pieces of boutique and antique equipment, for a synth gear head like me that was pretty rockin', the way the stage was setup it was level with the dance floor and i could easily walk around beside and behind them as they played, checking out all of their awesome gear they were going to town on, that was an awesome thing i will never ever forget, that alone did in fact make it a bad ass night for me

I'll probably attend if I'm not too busy. Depends on how the season goes.

I've been 4 times now to Earthdance Cape Town,South Africa.
not the best time of year for us, but its the official start to our outdoor season of psytrance. Then from that day on to mid May there is an outdoor music festival every weekend. ~Keep it green and leave it clean~

I used to run a crew down there ( A traffic Crew) for the first 5 years. That show/venue/production is amazing. The prayer for Peace (usually on Saturday afternoons) is cleansing and connecting. Since it's in Sept. There aren't many Hoodrats (Like RoR) attending, unfort. a lot of growers can't make it cuz of timing as well.
Enjoy yourself as it's the last ED at the HogFarm. They will still have the Kate Wolfe Festival in June tho'. Peace p.s It gets COLD at night in sept. down there. Bring some warm clothes!

In an electrician and an EMT, if I can help out at all, let me know. I don't have current certs for EMT, but if someone needs help that won't change anything.
