Will The Real MOD Stand Up?
So I decided to share some pics of the original Mist Of Destruction (Kali Mist X Destroyer).
This original pack of beans has been sitting in my fridge for years, and even though I don't like to grow pure sativas indoor I thought these beans would have to be put to use before they got too old. My worries were unfounded, I had 100% germ rate on six beans, got 4 females, 1 male and one plant that still hasn't shown sex, after 6 months of vegging. My technique for growing sativas (indoors) is to veg for months and months, tip and prune to stay in control, and when preflowers brake out all over I flip, with the result that they bud almost immediately, and behave more like hybrids in flower than sativas. Day 49. I hope they will take after their KM mom and put on more weight, because like some of you know I like massive stalks...

Awesome so these are pre-backcrossing. They look pretty good to me, good luck in finding a kali pheno, you have a 50% chance.

The first picture, bud on the far right... Is that bud rot or did it touch the exposed bulb or something?

Thanks guys,
I've grown Kali Mist so I know what she looks like, but not the Destroyer. Here's another pheno, she's less of a Kali lookalike than the first pheno IMO. Opinions?

Hey again,
I've been asked to do a smoke report, and even though I don't have the time to do that properly in this instant, here's a few takes on this grow. As you can see, I basically got two phenos, one that I think of as the Kali pheno (since I've grown her and know what she looks and smells like), and a Destroyer pheno. Of the two, the so called Destroyer pheno was superior to the Kali pheno. Good yield, thick, hazy growth structure, ready in 70 days and with a touch of cinnamon in the aroma, while the Kali phenos were low yield, finicky, slow growing and refused to finish (the pheno shown in this thread was the best among the Kalis), although with a good Kali high to it. I'm gutted, because I lost the Destroyer cuts I took to a freak heat stroke that lasted a few days, I'll have to see if I can find her again in the remaining seeds, or the F2:s I made. I'm flowering out the remaining Kali pheno mothers, she won't be kept. They're pretty even in high, and we're talking quality here, almost up there with the Skunk#1XHaze, but since I love the aroma and the stringy hazy buds of the Destroyer pheno, that's jar I always go for. I'll try to get back to you on this, Cheeks
