hey folks, i figured this would be a good forum for a somewhat simple question.

i've been growing out mexi bagseeds in small containers in my rubbermaids lately...the oldest plant in there has been LSTed a couple times and has shot out three or four solid branches. one thing I didn't do with this plant is top it before flipping to 12/12. I've been in the 12/12 photoperiod for about a week now and while a lot of my tinier seedlings (had about a week and a half veg) have not shown sex the bigger one is a strong female. In the past two days she has started kickin out all kinds of preflowers/hairs.

Is it too late to top this plant and have it flower out a couple new terminal buds? I mean, I am not even sure it's started "flowering" it's just really showing it's sex a lot.

I topped the next largest plant, a nice strong afghani looking plant and am hoping it turns out to be a Female. It seems like it takes these little buggers so long to show me their privates.

Topping now won't do much more than stress them out. I'd just fold them over. It will keep tops out of the light, maintain an even canopy, promote lower growth and leave the plant far less stressed.

Thanks freeze, I tied her down some more and made some more room for the additional tops that are growing. I did top that Afghani, but it hasn't shown sex and I think it's still way in it's vegetative stage.
