Hey all,

I have a DWC going right now in a micro grow, but i really want to transition to a hempy bucket for my next grow. I've been trying to find some information via google where people have done this with the shoe box container, but have come up empty and have decided to ask the community what their thoughts are. Some questions I have:

- Would drilling a hole 2 inches above be adequate? Since its more of a rectangular shape as opposed to a circle, I wasn't sure if I should go lower since I think it would make a large reservoir.

- Taping: would it be best to tape the clear container so that no light can get in? Wondering if algae becomes a problem with these hempy's.

At any rate, thats all for the help and here are a few pics of my white widow baby at 4 weeks.

Yes....2" up will be fine regardless of the shape. But I do recommend you use a different container. Clear is never good. For all the work that would be involved at making them light proof....you can pick up blue 2G buckets at Walmart for $2 each.
