5 lui13 seedlings

5 lui13 beans all germinated in less then 48 hours. Must be fresh seeds. Never had seeds germinate so vigorously. Not to mention they seem almost identical.

They stretched on me a bit before I got chance to stick them under my 1000w MH. Nothing serious though. Hopefully I get a couple good mothers out of these 5. I still have 5 for backup though

I'm hoping to get some help on identifying the phenotypes. But that's a little ways off.

Nice LUI13 babies! A bit of stretch...none to worry, next up-pot just bury the excess stem in your medium. Roots will grow outward from the stem. Although I've seen much more stretch from those that have kept their light too far away, or, not enough light be given early on, it's easily corrected when up-potting. What transition lighting (if any) are you using prior to moving them under your 1000w MH?

Thank you for starting your thread....look forward to watching these progress for you!

Good growing to you!

The stretch happened pretty early on. I had them in my main grow room which is on 18/6 currently. The room has 4 1000w hps's on at the moment. So I had them stuck in the corner so they weren't getting direct light. I didn't want to burn the little ones. I even moved them a bit closer to the lights day by day. But it wasn't enough light to stop them from stretching surprisingly. I haven't started any seeds before under 1000w's so I wanted to be very careful. I had to clean up some space in my basement to setup the 1000w MH. So those 3-4 days of me being slow allowed the stretch to continue. The MH is probably 6.5-7 ft above them currently but it definitely stopped the stretching.

I'm interested in this plant. Looking for a plant that can grow into a monster and I've heard this one has a great yield. Will it grow into a tree if that is my goal?

Thats why I grabbed this strain. I've heard good things about Lui and G13 so I figured I couldn't go wrong with a cross. I'm hoping anyways. I'm looking to grow trees as well. With lots of side lighting

blahman....good to hear you have the lighting figured out and they sound to be doing just fine under the MH. How much of your 4k hps will you be dedicating to these?

just harvested my first lui 13. very high class weed with amazing yield, got over 2zs from a plant that takes only a square foot of space. start taking clones she is very productive and will have you overgrown in a couple months. the structure of dg plants set them apart , so thick and straight .
