Many of you know Im in an ongoing battle with cancer...... While I will ultimately beat this thing, lately Ive been having a bit of a backslide.......Ive got some major nerve pain going on and its either due to the chemo or from the surgery where they cut it out......

Latley its gotten so bad Ive resorted to getting straight shots of Morphine to get me through the day......While I am getting used to the effects the first few days were quite funny..... Luckily I have an Oncologist who understands what Im going through and he is doing anything he can to help ease my pain....... Since Im allergic to a lot of narcotics, I get the shot then hang out at the Doctors office for 2 hrs before they let me go home or to work......Talk about F'd up before you get to leave......

I passed out at the dispensary Thursday afternoon and napped on the couch......I apparently cleaned my house and washed dishes while I thought I was asleep on monday all the while telling my wife how messed up I was from the shot...

I cant imagine spending my life having to be that doped up to get through the day.....Thank Jah for Bubba Kush and OG to get me through my day......Helps even out the hard stuff.....

another couple of weeks and I have the next round of Labs, Ct's and all the fun stuff.....

It was WEIRD......One moment Im at the Dr. Office telling them I didnt want to be admited.... next thing Im waking up in my bed at home 6 hrs later....My wife said I slept from the Dr office to home then once home I perked up like I felt better, washed the dishes, vacuumed, picked up the kids toys, smoked a bowl watched about 15 min of The Boondocks and went to bed....She thought I was awake/aware the whole time.....I wasnt......

I feel pretty good today.....lots of educational projects in the works...

I will be writing a few articles for a new magazine in CO......Historical pieces, few grow n shows, genetic spotlight type of stuff....may do that gig under my true identity.....or both....

Hey MS,

Sorry your going through so much pain. Have you tried or been on Gabapentin or brand name Neurontin? Its non narcotic and works well for people with neuropathic pain such as you. Lyrica would be another one that could help, though the other med I mentioned would be cheaper.

You could also use Suboxone to help control the pain since its non narcotic and used to relieve symptoms such as yours. Take care.

Oh, you may want to look into high CBD strains like that of the Japanese, around Hakkaido island.

It gets better, then it comes back. Last few days have been pretty good.

Woke up this AM and man, I fu*K'n HURT.

Got too much stuff going on to curl up and cry. I'm working on a few magazine articles, and writing the filler for a series of grow seminars Im about to start hosting around the state and gotta get into the office in an hour or so.

Cant hit the docs office for a shot due to the schedule today so Im taking my full stash of full melt OG hash to work and stay medicated proper.

Thanks for all the support and suggestions. Im looking into anything and everything at this point to get rid of this pain. Id even travel to the Deepest parts of the South American Jungles for a tribal doc if I knew it would work.

And get back to just puffing that OG or Bubba so you
can clean the house whilst your conscious!

Moonshine: Get well soon! Maybe the doc could send some Morphine home with you and teach your wife how to give it to you? It is very easy to do. There are also morphine tablets, it that is an option for you.

I saw someone recommend Neurontin. I have given this drug to 100s of patients, and none of them liked it or felt it benefited them. I personally think it is a crap shit drug!

Moonshine - Hope this finds you feeling better. A little more information on what Lola said - I take time release morphine and it works pretty well if it would be strong enough to help you. I have taken two brands. Kadian raised hell with my stomach after a few months, but Avinza has been working pretty well for me for quite a while. One cautionary note - you cannot drink any alcohol with it. The alcohol will dissolve the time release coating and you will o.d.. I tried Lyrica for a short time, thought it was waaaay too bizarre. Good luck!
